James and Chance did an excellent job with finish aesthetics. As with all construction projects, some issues come up but Christian always had solutions to make us happy. "Deck Maintenance and Re-Build - Woodpecker Builders John replaced many boards on the two decks length of our house, removed vertical posts and replaced with horizontal cables to improve our view of the golf course. He and his team power washed the decks, sanded and re-stained the decks. John is a wonderful communicator, a pleasure to work with, and his prices are reasonable. "Not professionals yet charge professional rates. Had to redo the repair of the wood on the window frame 3 times. Got paint on nearly every screen on my porch. Got paint on my Sunbrella cushions. Stain on the painted wood surface. Hundreds of drips on the lower deck stain when they stained the top deck which cannot be corrected without major sanding or sand blasting. I would not have hired them if I had known how sloppy they were. I was happy when they left. I think they were in over their head on what they bid."

"We hired them to help us add support beams under our deck to properly hold the weight of our hot tub. They also assisted us with fixing a bunch of furniture we ordered that needed to be built. We had them paint our decks and porch plus fix our kitchen sink and replace our bathroom sinks. They also did some other jobs like fixing our door frame, adding fire extinguishers, smoke alarms replacing our outside cameras, changing window blinds, adding special window glass for heat and replacing deck flooring.
