He took great lengths to talk to us, ask us what we needed, explain all the processes, steps, etc., and what to expect. He answered ALL of our questions, and as a BOOMER, I really appreciated that! He was very polite, professional, and respectful! Then, he got the job done ahead of schedule, at cost, and it looks amazing! Wife is happy, that's all you need to know! I highly recommend him and his excellent HARDWORKING team. Here is before and after, but trust me, they were way worse looking and he fixed them, cleaned them, sanded them, then stained/painted them! "I highly recommend Archadeck of Central Maine. The carpenter, Garret, except for a few hours on the first carpentry day and the entire last day, worked on this by himself. He did a phenomenal job! On the last day he was joined by Preston and he did a great job as well. This project had some unique elements. First, was the slope of the ground. Second, was the design. The lower deck was designed to hold a hot tub (not shown here) to be accessed from the upper deck in the area between the two railings. One whole side of the upper deck remained without a railing as I wanted deck access to be at any point along the footpath. It'll be my task to backfill the gap between the deck surface and the footpath. Total number of days worked on this project was six (6). TJ and Jessi are easy to work with and the cost was very reasonable. We are THRILLED with the results!!"
