"Just wanted everyone to know about an amazing experience we had with a contractor and deck builder: Petra Decks, LLC. Anas (owner) and his crew were outstanding. Anas was present throughout the entire build. His communication was stellar, they worked incredibly hard and the deck they built is exactly what we hoped for. He showed up on time and the deck was finished within the promised timeframe. We have had some horrible experiences with contractors, so we really wanted to share this excellent recommendation with those in Ten Trails who may be considering having a deck built. Petra Decks builds both composite and wood decks, along with patio covers, etc for a full outdoor living experience. Please give them a call or text to obtain an estimate as individual chosen materials and dimensions are all factored into their pricing. You definitely will not be disappointed!"

"You can stop looking, you have found an honest builder with pride in workmanship. I looked for months for a deck builder I felt would do a good job. Several of them were from Angies list and they were not interested in what I wanted, they were interested in what they could sell me. I talked to them about the fact that I had a mature garden and they would need to work around the plants. They told me I would have to move the plants. I wanted to know if the structure of the deck was still safe. They told me they wouldn’t know until they took the deck apart. I told them what my budget was. They had no advise or options to offer. I balked. They mansplained. I tore up their bids which were outrageous. One was for $33,000. It just isn’t that big a deck. I was really bummed. Then I found Ray. Ray came to my house and inspected the deck I had. He even crawled under it to check the structure. He answered questions. He explained the process and told me what it would cost to replace the deck I had. It was too expensive. He suggested alternative designs that would fit my budget. We talked back and forth for three weeks until we had a nice design that I could afford. He understood about my garden and assured me they could work around the plants and would be careful. He brought me decking samples, discussed pros and cons of different materials, and was patient and answered all my questions. He sent me a schematic of the deck with an estimate that listed supplies. I hired him. Ray and his son were the first contractors to work on my home that I didn’t feel I had to watch to make sure they did the job I paid them for. In fact, when they got some bad materials, they took them back to the supplier rather than just use them anyway. They finished the job at the cost we agreed on and there were no surprises. They left my property cleaner than they found it and not one plant lost its life to them. I now have a deck that is beautiful and that will outlast me. Decks are not all Ray and his son do. The next project I do on my home, this company will be the first I call."

"Black Diamond was able to schedule and complete construction of our new deck within a few weeks of hiring them. Weâ ve been very pleased with the quality of the build and the overall deck."

"We built a new deck on our 1970 house in Shoreline. Cameron and his crew (Dale and Ryan in particular) are awesome to work with. Top notch quality work and we love the finished product that will last for many years to come. The team built the deck in record time - minus the railing which was contracted to another company. My frustration was with the railing company (apparently had not worked with them before). The glass railing took 3.5 months to deliver when they had quoted 3-4 weeks… and the communication on the shifting dates was spotty. This was also around the time of the massive heat wave this summer so some of the boards understandably started bowing and expanding - Dale came by each time and made sure to fix any issues. Really appreciated it."

"You won’t find a better deck pro than Eric Delay. He and his team did a great job on my deck. And worked so independently that we hardly knew they were there. And after a great job on the new deck, they put in phenomenal deck lighting. Thanks for the effort and detail."

"Stained and replac boards on my backyard deck"
