"The job went very well and looked better than I imagined. I had a traditional pressure treated deck that was built 25 years ago. Maintenance was a nightmare to the point I stained the deck a solid color. This needed to be freshened up every couple of years. I tired of doing this chore so I contacted several contractors. Those contacted were not very enthusiastic and submitted extremely high bids without explaining exactly what materials they were using or a plan of attack. Brian of Carls Decking came with samples, brochures and a no nonsense explanation of what needed to be done to put me” in my happy place.” Brian inspected the frame and found it to still be level and in good shape. He suggested a total rip off of the planks and replacement of steps deck boards and railings. He even obtained the railing permit and made sure final inspection was handled. Pricing to do this type of renovation is not cheap but the final result was worth every penny! The crew that Brian sent over did an amazing job! The premises was cleaned up everyday when they left and all work was done in a very professional manner. I recommend Carl’s Decking very highly."

Explained every step, worked with us while we replaced windows on that side also and were very professional and attentive. They did a great job taking down our siding and putting everything back up, even power washed that side! Definitely calling them up again once we are ready to do other work along with masonry work. After starting the work replacing a few boards, he discovered how bad our deck was (we knew it was very old but didn’t realize how bad it was until the boards were taken up). He gave an estimate to redo the boards and add beams underneath to bring the deck up to code, in addition to the smaller jobs we had requested.
