"Cleaned and sanded my 20 year old deck on hands and knees for a satiny smooth finish. They are expensive but the completed product is gorgeous."

"As all the previous reviewers have said, DC 57 Construction is definitely a 5 star company. Lucas came to my home 3 times and helped me plan out the job. The job included: rebuilding a wood ladder to the upstairs loft, installing a railing and a new door in the loft, and adding shelves in the bathrooms. In addition, Lucas installed two railings for my back deck. Lucas and Tiago are both finish carpenters and they do excellent work at a very reasonable price. I am having Lucas come back soon to install a new screen door. Hiring Lucas and Tiago was definitely a great decision as my home looks much better."

"Working with the PLJ crew was an excellent experience from start to finish. My deck came out absolutely beautiful?exactly how I envisioned it. The team was super nice and took the time to answer every question I had along the way. I highly recommend PLJ to anyone looking to turn their project into reality. They get a thumbs up and 5 stars all day long!"

"Byron is very professional and has great knowledge. He gave the system a thorough inspection and fixed an issue I was having. Top notch, I recommend this technician to all. Nick was in the area and stopped by to lend a hand and went over some items for future thoughts. Both men satisfied all my questions. Great teamwork. Thanks"

"Extremely nice. Very hard working. On time each day. Kept us in the loop with step by step updates."

"I recommend this wonderful company without any hesitation. I first contacted Wood Trades LLC seeking a deck quote in September 2024, and John and Karin came out the very next day. From day one, John and Karin provided impeccable service. I cannot say enough wonderful things about their communication, transparency, honestly, and reliability. All current insurance/contractor licenses were provided up front, and any change in cost was documented through clear contracts. In addition, they patiently navigated me through a difficult permitting process from start to finish. Once the work was started, I had a gorgeous new deck in just over one week. I cannot thank this company enough for gaining, and more importantly, maintaining my trust through this project. I certainly look forward to working with Wood Trades again, and highly recommend their services to anyone seeking high quality results from a wonderful company. Exceeded expectations!"

"They were prompt and the deck has not looked this good---perfect job---I am going to make sure my community gets thier information. I stand by them 100%---nice people"

"Matt came out the day after we talked. The project was to rebuild an older deck and to replace a retaining wall around the pool. He sent the quote within a couple of days, followed up with me to answer any questions and we tentatively scheduled the work for the middle of August. He came out the end of July and started on the deck. He used the existing framework, but had to make a number of adjustments to ensure the integrity and stability of the new deck. At the end of the first day the deck planks were installed and the structure was solid as a rock. The second day he and his partner went to work on the retaining wall. They took out the old one, dug a deeper and wider trench for the new one, added and compacted the stone dust base and proceeded to build the wall. They used the dirt that they removed to level out the area around my shed and behind the pool. On the final day they capped the blocks, added finishing touches to the retaining wall, and finished the stairs on the deck. All in all Matt and Mario did a phenomenal job and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Unfortunately, the new lower deck makes the older upper deck look even shabbier than it did. After pool season, I will be calling Matt to come and replace that deck too."
