"WOW.
I thought my 30 year old redwood deck wasn't salvageable, but Rupert convinced me to do so.  He was very prompt & reliable & knowledgeable and everything went as planned.    A real pleasure to work with, especially if you prefer texting over e-mails!!
I thought it was going to need replacement, a cost of $20,000 using a wood/plastic composite.  I am glad I didn't spend all that money- I would have had a plastic deck (Trex )that would scratch/warp/stain/turn to plastic-dust ( according to reviews at http://www.consumeraffairs.com/homeowners/trex_composite_decking.html)
Instead, I have a sturdy splinter free redwood deck and $18,000 still in my pocket.  Environmentally I saved as well, by 'fixing & reusing rather than buying/manufacturing plastics that would end up un-decomposed in a landfill one day.
If you want a facelift on your old deck- Summit Deck Doctors is the way to go.
If you think your deck is dying and needs to be buried & replaced, don't do so without asking Summit Deck Doctors to resuscitate it.

"CalPreserving was the total deal! I didn't know what all we needed and all the serves Iooked at seemed to offer only a piece of the puzzle, such as just power washing, or construction, or staining. This group did it all. The initial visit to assess the issues was informative and helpful. We could see our choices. They offered sound advice and looked at ways to save us money where it was possible. We ended up replacing about half the boards on the oldest deck. The finished product on both decks looks amazing -- like new. The workmen were thoughtful, knowledgeable, hard working, and polite. I was impressed that they even followed up with tips on maintaining the decks for years to come. I will definitely have them back every couple of years just to check on the decks and preserve the investments we have made in them. My highest recommendation."

"So happy to have worked with Doug Hannan for our deck & stairs rebuild. He does amazing work, pays attention to detail, does things the right way, and is an honest guy. I couldn?t recommend him more for any construction/carpentry/rebuild/remodel work. I?ll definitely call him the next time we need some work done."

"Lance and Shawn did a fantastic job on our home's exterior, sheds, and deck! Couldn't be happier with the work!"

"We have a second home with a large cantilevered deck on the 3rd story.  It was a very difficult engineering job and Jason and I discussed how to approach replacing it from every angle possible.  We finally decided to completely remove it and replace it with a deck, of the exact same design, except supported from below.

It was a very difficult job but Jason, as usual, did a stellar job.  The deck is as solid as a rock, looks great and was done on time.  My family is ecstatic with the results.  I won't use another contractor for anything technical like this except Jason."

"I have worked with Ryan and his company for many years. As an active Realtor, I need quality workmanship and people I can depend on. Ryan always delivers for us. Whether it is a small job, deck repair/replacement, fencing or remodeling project he always comes through on time, on budget with shining colors and a great attitude that pleases my clients and makes me look good, too."

"I needed my plaster ceiling patched and re-textured and some crown molding put up. Dean did a great job, was there when he said he would be and cleaned up after. The price was good and I'd be happy to have him do some more work for me."

"He is a very knowledgeable handyman. He is pretty impressive."
