"This deck replacement was not a straight forward job. The original deck was built over 40 years ago by my husband. It overlooks a deep ravine and the sides of the slope are very slippery this time of year. The crew went to work and in no time the original deck was removed and they started on the supports for the new deck. We now have a beautiful and very sturdy deck which will probably outlast the two of us. We love this deck! Great people who know what they are doing!! Highly recommend Green Shield!!"

"The owner of this company (Tim) is the nicest & honest contractor I have dealt with in years. He tore out the old deck a built a new one within agreed upon budget & time. He even did extras with no charge. Heâ s a good man Ed Randolph"

"They did good work in a timely manor."

"Mr. Eric Windorf (Generations Owner) was a knowledgeable and efficient contractor. Before the job even began, he reviewed it for his bid and in the process he discovered a 2"X10" plank beneath the outer edge of the main span that was dry-rotted at the top, and a second structural issue with the face-plate, and priced them into the job. These structural repairs were completed before the originally described job was begun. When the Township inspector required a replacement of all railings on my 65 by 10 foot deck (including the stairs from ground level, ten feet below), Mr. Windorf designed and built a much better set of railings than the original, plus a gate and short (two treads) stairway at one end of the deck. Once the railings were built and installed, the inspector required revisions that did not seem to relate to the permit book exemplar drawings. However, Mr. Windorf worked to meet the revised requirements and got us our approval. Mr. Windorf was easy to work with, and talk to, and despite Township holdups, got the job done in a reasonable timeframe. I will have him back for my next project. Photos available upon request. "They did a really good job and they stand behind their work. The prices are competitive and they take pride in their work. I had a really old front door that was not insulated and they put in a new one with plenty of insulation. They also put in a new storm door and a garage side door that meant making a new doorway that's sealed properly. They answered all my questions and were respectful of the property"

"He was great! He did a good job I will hire him again."

"We can’t say enough great things about this company. From owners, to office staff to their exception work crew. We had interviewed several decking companies. We hired them after a few minutes of speaking to us. We were that impressed . The crew they sent were dedicated professionals, they took pride in their work, the end product says it all. The deck is built to last, the Trex absolutely gorgeous . Do yourself a favor, hire them for your next project, we did! They will reside our home in the Fall!"

"Devon did an excellent job replacing the ground trellis surrounding our deck. He was very thorough and intentional in his approach, studying the area and circumstances that led to the demise of the original structure. He developed a couple of potential solutions and explained the pros and cons of each option. It was clear that Devon set high standards for himself. He takes great pride in completing his work so that the results meet or exceed his customer’s expectations."
