"I had a small water leak coming from the unit above me. The tech cut open the wall and quickly determined the source of the leak and that there was no mold that was forming or cause for alarm. They left drying equipment and a hepa filter in my unit after the leak was fixed by the unit above me. I was unable to contact RL for several days while this equipment was sitting in my bathroom running. Finally after multiple calls to them they responded and came back days later to check on things and removed the equipment. I was charged for multiple days of use of this equipment, even though it was only supposed to be there for 24 hours. I was also charged for an emergency service fee ($250) even though this was not an emergency. They advertised the consult as a free estimate/consultation, and I was not told about the emergency fee. They claim they showed me the pricing sheet, which they quickly did, however this is a four page long document with 100s of line items listed on each side. They gave me no real estimate of what the cost would be and did not offer to describe the types of costs I could expect based on that sheet. They also did not make any attempt to communicate with me after removing their equipment about repairing the hole left in the wall after their work was completed, even though they had said that was part of the service they offered. I was sent a bill for $1055 after multiple weeks of not hearing anything from them and with a giant hole still in my wall. Probably a decent company for an emergency situation, but would definitely not recommend this business. Very shady business practices preying on people in tough situations who are forced to shell out whatever dollar amount they feel like charging. They make the majority of their money by billing your insurance but if your project is not large enough to go through insurance then they will try to get as much money out of you as possible is the impression I was left with."

"I'm never been one to leave reviews; neither good or bad. However, the service I was granted from First Response Restoration was quite remarkable to say the least. The team at First Response Restoration really got me out of a uncomfortable pickle and served it to me as chewable as possible. I was out of town with my family for about 2 and 1/2 weeks and at this time my aging copper pipes decided to have a bladder deficiency and proceeded to push off the ever slightest tinkle of a stream. Needless to say I came back to an unexpected swimming pool so deep one might assume to get his diver's license, as this may be fitting with the abundance of water over staying its welcome. The ever so "helpful and utilitarian" insurance vultures that I've employed for many years, without the slightest need of their toils, decided that after two weeks of continued water damage due to the lack of acknowledgement on the part of the unbeknownst homeowner, us, was not going to be covered. However the team at First Response Restoration guided us through the labyrinth of bureaucratic maelstroms and chaperoned our unfortunate project to completion minimizing any of the inevitable headaches that go along with a disaster such as whirlpools and tsunamis held up in our basement letting their associates, mold and mildew, run rampant among our basement's dwindling vestiges. A very sincere Thanks to Mike and Jana with their team there at First Response Restoration. Had it not been for the finding of those angels I might have very well fitted myself out for the Olympics in domination of the breast stroke event."

"Great experience with Summit Mitigation. Our basement flooded due to a sump pump failure and excessive rain. Numerous other people in our neighborhood had the same issue. We were so lucky to get hooked up with Summit Mitigation and Oleg. He showed up and saved the day. In addition, He got us hooked up with a plumbing service right away, to replace our sump pump and was all over the water mitigation. He and his team were terrific. It is very stressful and anxiety provoking watching your basement flood. So when Oleg and his team came in and took charge, it gave me a huge sense of relief. In addition, I got the impression right away that he genuinely cared And we were in good hands. They were incredibly efficient and thorough. I canâ t tell you how happy we were with this experience. And despite the demand and urgency of their services, the pricing was very reasonable. In short, Oleg and Summit Mitigation are great at what they do but more importantly, kind, caring, and sincerely, motivated to help in time of need! I donâ t normally do these reviews, but Summit Mitigation was exceptional and I recommend them highly!"
