"Evan responded to our inquiry very rapidly and started out with a base mold test to get a normal reading outside and inside and than at the specific spots we had seen mold at or that were wet from prior leaks. The basement tested high for molds that some mold that may aggravate the human body senses and respiratory system. We discussed a plan of action including getting our insurance company involved. Evan even presented himself personally at the time of our insurance adjusters appearance to assess the area in concern. Dri Right is very knowledgeable and straightforward on what has to be done and how to remediate the area in question. Evan did not waste anytime in getting started and working with us within the timeline of finding which items we could keep. One word of caution, in your insurance policy, make sure you have content damage recovery in the mold coverage clause. If you do not they will cover cost of remediation but not the contents and therefore you will have to work on your taxes to see if you can claim a substantial loss of contents. Dri Right Restoration was very concerned and forthright in their dealing and easy to communicate with and take your personal feeling into consideration as well as hard calls one has to make with mold remediation. The people he had working for him as well were considerate and cordial making those hard decisions easier. We highly recommend Dri Right Restoration. Evan was always upfront, quick, direct and decisive. He has a great knowledge of the business and isn't afraid to help you with his knowledge and learnings."

"We were in the process of remodeling our home, and had our entire downstairs down to the subfloor.  We knew we wanted hardwood flooring.  However, during that time, we really started to notice an issue with our entire upstairs carpet.  The previous homeowners had purchased the carpet from Floor Coverings International (FCI).  The carpet fibers were coming up and we were finding them in all areas of our home; ALL AREAS of our home.  We deemed the carpet defective and contacted FCI.  FCI had us contact the carpet manufacturer. The carpet manufacturer sent out an independent inspector to test and examine the carpet.  The manufacturer ultimately gave us a credit for the price of the carpet alone.  This did not include tear-out and removal of the defective carpet, or installation of the new carpet.  So, since we were in the middle of a remodel downstairs, and the credit wouldn't adequately cover replacing the upstairs carpet, we couldn't afford to redo all flooring in the entire house. 
Jonathan Wilk at FCI was very helpful and willing to work with us.  We told him the situation and he allowed us to apply the manufacturer credit towards a hardwood flooring purchase at FCI.  FCI did not provide any credit or warranty on the previous carpet.  However, it was helpful to have the manufacturer credit, and we were thankful that Jonathan understood our situation. 
My personality is to be very thorough and meticulous.  This is also evident during our home renovations, and so I had many details, particulars, and specific concerns about the hardwood flooring and potential installation procedures.  Jonathan didn't always agree with or understand my specific concerns or questions.  We did not use install services through FCI.  However, it was an overall pleasant experience.  We have been very happy with the quality of the Somerset hardwood flooring we purchased from FCI, and thankful to Jonathan for his willingness to listen and work with us during the experience."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
