Project will most likely include removing and replacing some exterior cedar siding, door trim, sheathing, subfloor, header floor joist, flashing, removing and re-installing the sliding Anderson patio doors, etc. Area could be six square feet but is currently hard to tell without removing existing siding and maybe the deck. Project: Repair Damage from Dry-rot, Water or Pests
Location: Traverse City, MI

Comment: I have water damage in at least the master bathroom and possibly the other bathroom as well. I had a contractor (unlicensed as it turned out) do some work for me recently and had him move a toilet so I could paint behind it. When he moved it, he didn't shut the water off completely and so there was water leaking onto the floor for a month or so. The subfloor is most likely ruined and probably the shower will need to be replaced too. I am going to put a new vanity in too just to be sure.
