"Our home was for sale and as a result of a home inspection, we contacted a third party service on the internet to solicit bids for a small job of properly terminating two electrical circuits in the attic.  These circuits were from a couple of attic fans that were removed when our roof was replaced a few years prior and we had a ridge vent installed.  Mr. Electric contaced me within just a few minutes of my online request.  They were very professional and willing to set upa an appointment to meet my schedule within just a couple of days.  I set up the appointment but then cancelled it as the contractor that remodeled our home recently, was across the street for another job and he took care of the electrical work for me that same day.  All though Mr. Electric did not perform the work, I would not hesitate calling them in the future for any electrical work.  The quote was for a standard rate for an hour's time and they were very professional and pleasant.

"We needed a patio ceiling fan installed, which was done right. We also needed our living room ceiling fan fixed--the lights work but the fan does not work! He took out the fan switch, took the wires out, stuck his screwdriver in the switch...and then he couldnt get the wires back in it!! Result: ceiling fan STILL not working! Was here about 2 hrs. and charged $250--too high, esp. for fan still broken!!"

"Very quick to respond to my initial inquiry (within an hour).  They clearly explained all the pricing after getting a description of the jobs so there were no surprises.  We set an appointment for the following week.  The handyman they sent out was very professional and knowledgeable.  He arrived on time, reviewed all the work to be done, and got started quickly.
The caulk work on our master shower took longer than we (or the handyman) expected.  This was probably due to the age and condition of the caulk as well as the amount (our show is 12-13 feet tall).  The extra time was worth it though, since they results were amazing - like having a new shower.  Everything was throughly cleaned after the caulk was removed, and they even applied caulk around towel rods, etc.  
They also replaced our shower head, something that I've tried to do several times.  The old head has been in place for 20 years, and was very tightly 'stuck' on.  He had it removed in minutes, along with the old arm, and installed the new one we had purchased.
Finally, he removed an old ceiling fan an installed a new one we had purchased.  He was careful to check with us about all the options - which side of the blades we wanted visible, how we wanted it wired to the switches (vs using a remote that came with the unit).
Overall, it took nearly 5 hours, a little longer than the 3 hours we had expected.  This was due to the shower caulk, and the extra time was well worth it to have it done right.  I'm glad he took the time to make it perfect rather than rushing the job.
