"Initially we had a wood burning stove and wanted a fireplace. He opened the wall and after the inspection he noticed 13 thousand pounds of cracked sewer lines pipe and broken concrete blocks and bricks used as fill. He took everything in stride and was extremely reasonable. We have a beautiful fireplace now. He even helped with rebuilding the chimney and relining everything."

"He provided an estimate that was fairly accurate in terms of cost.  The work itself when it occurred went well, with the different steps of the project getting done well once started.  Clean up afterwards of the immediate area was done well.  The end result was solid and looks great.

The time frame was significantly longer than originally anticipated, dragging the length of time into a few weeks.  If you use him, make sure he has all of his materials before beginning the work.

And clearly contract to have everything taken out- he left the old stove for us to dispose of."
