He asked for a couple pictures via phone, then called me and helped me diagnose the problem and get the pilot light re-lit over the phone. No charge. These are honest and awesome people who I would recommend for any service. I'll have work done in a couple months on the drier vents and I plan to just call them; no competition."

"I called a couple companies about my Dyna Flame 3000G fireplace that was not working. After talking with one company that told me Dyna Flame was out of business, and replacement parts could not be found, I was discouraged. I decided to call around some more for other opinions. One other company did not get back to me. Gary called me back, and we scheduled an appointment. He came out, checked a number of things, and finally zeroed in on the high temperature device. He was able to find a replacement in his truck, and now I have a working fireplace.
Given the estimate of $3000-$6000 dollars to replace my fireplace from the other company, I was quite happy to pay Gary the $200 for the service call and part. Thanks Gary!

"Arid did some minor concrete cleaning and repair but bigger job was painting our patio cover. The cover was built several years ago and had been primed but not painted. The primer was mostly worn off and the wood was really dry. Pete made it look like a brand new cover! The paint is so good it feels like a plastic coating and he suggested some really nice decorative details. The whole job was done in a timely and professional manner and we are planning to ask Arid to build a small patio area in another part of our yard."

"We had a complete kitchen remodeling project done recently (reconfigured layout, new cabinets, wood flooring, special lightings and more...). This was on top of replacing the floor in the hallway and family room. After meeting and interviewing 4 additional contractors, Best builders groups project manager, Zohar Regev, was the only person that truly listened to what we wanted and loved as opposed to what is usually done. Zohar suggested many options and thoughts but we are so happy with our new kitchen. The working people were very skilled about managing things around which helped us making better design choices. Our foreman, was on top of the progress and kept us posted daily about progress. He always addressed all of our concerns. They were friendly, hardworking while making sure to clean at the end of each working day. Best builders group was very helpful about including things which were somewhat out of the original plan for no additional cost. They approached problems with a positive attitude and improved things to please our desires. They finished the whole project ahead of schedule. We would hire Best builders group again for future remodeling projects."

"We hired Fireplace Freddie to inspect and fix our 100-year-old fireplace & chimney, making it safe to burn real wood again. Nick and Scott came out quickly, and used cameras to inspect. During the inspection Nick visually showed me what the issues were. He also verbally suggested the fix. After the inspection, we received pics and a price quote to fix the issues by installing a stainless steel sleeve in the chimney. We sent the pics and info to 3 other businesses to compare prices. After speaking with Nick numerous times, including 2 conversations with my old school contractor buddy who asked Nick just about every ridiculous question he could possibly think of, Nick remained cool and answered all of his questions. Nick also agreed to do the job with a permit from LADBS which they included in the price, so we decided Fireplace Freddie was the right company to do the job. Patrick was our installer. He had a co-worker, but I didn't catch his name. They showed up on time, covered the floor and furniture and did their job. It took a few days as they said it would, but they were on time, clean and friendly. Each day they came, they covered everything. Each night, they cleaned up and uncovered everything before they left. Patrick also dealt with our LADBS inspector who admittedly was not well versed in chimney repair. Patrick was very friendly, gave the inspector the information he needed including printed specs from the manufacturer, and we passed inspection w/o issue. Scott came back 1 week later to test the fireplace. He lit a fire to make sure it was all good, and it is. To sum it all up, everyone was friendly and professional. The job went super smooth, and we are able to use our wood burning fireplace again, safely.  I would highly recommend Fireplace Freddie. A+"

"After many roofing estimates that were incredibly high and came with either no financing or high interest financing, I stumbled upon Zen Builders. Simon was attentive, knowledgeable, and on top of his game. My roof was completed in three days, it's beautiful, and there were NO LEAKS when the rains came a few days later. The workers were professional, considerate, and the clean up was amazing. No trace of having construction in my yard. Because I was so happy with the work, I mentioned to Simon that I would love to have him come back and do a few more projects. I ended up with an even better financing option (both loans are well-within my budget) and a GORGEOUS new patio cover complete with a surprise ceiling fan in the middle! The patio is now white, and they painted the trim of my house to match. They also fixed my heating/AC ducts, insulated my attic, and for free, added plywood, so I can actually store items up there. I have never had an issue getting ahold of Simon or his sister, Kineret (Kerry). When there was an adjustment needed to the air ducts, the workers came out quickly (amid the COVID-19 quarantine) and simply fixed it! I couldn't ask for more! All work took less than a month to complete and I never felt pressured, ignored, or bamboozled. I have recommended Zen Builders to many of my friends. I hope they recover from the imposed quarantine to continue to provide excellent service."

"I can't say enough good things about Patios by B&B. I had been shopping for a replacement for our aging, dry-rotted patio cover for several weeks when I called Patios by B&B. I already had three estimates in hand for aluminum and wood covers. My wife and I preferred an aluminum patio cover, but were afraid we might not be able to afford one, especially since we had received an extremely high bid from at least one other company. When Paul from Patios by B&B came over to give me an estimate, I felt extremely good about him right away as he is very friendly and engaging and thoroughly knowledgeable. After arriving he very efficiently gathered all the specs he needed, took me through all the options for the cover, and then carefully explained his process and how his crew worked. He then gave me an excellent estimate that was well within our budget so I sealed the deal right then and their. The crew came over a few days later, demolished the old patio cover and installed the new aluminum cover with a pre-wired opening for a fan/light combo. The crew was thoroughly professional and courteous and did an excellent job, paying very good attention to detail. In those areas in which the old cover had been but was now exposed, they got matching paint and did an excellent job of touch up. Everything they did, right down to the conduit they installed for the fan, looks sturdy and clean and the patio cover itself is beautiful. Rarely have I had such a good experience with a contractor. If you're looking for an aluminum patio cover, you owe to yourself to give Patios by B&B a call. You'll get your money's worth and you will love the product.
