"I would recommend Conde Tech Services to anyone in need of HVAC service, installation, and/or repair. We had an issue with our condenser tripping its fuse when running for more than a few minutes. Another HVAC company hired by our home warranty company claimed the repair would require either replacing a part, which would take weeks to deliver and install, or replacing the condenser itself, which could be accomplished faster, but would be very costly. Matthew from Conde Tech saved us weeks of aggregation or thousands of dollars when, during his inspection, he found the previous tech had misdiagnosed the issue. The fuse, not the condenser, was the problem. Matthew fixed the fuse and serviced the condenser for half the price that the previous HVAC tech quoted us for repairing the incorrect issue with the condenser (which not only wouldn’t have solved the problem, but, worse, would have left us with a continuing fire hazard). My wife and I are not only extremely satisfied with Conde Tech, we are grateful to Matthew personally for resolving an issue that put our house and safety at risk. "May be the best customer service I've ever received from a Northern Virginia small business. Competitively priced, outstanding workmanship and work ethic, superior communication and follow-up to make sure I was happy with the job -- and I was (and am) VERY HAPPY with the work done. I asked for a chimney inspection in November 2020 as I was unhappy with the draw/burn of my wood-stove. Damien (senior installer and estimates/inspections) was incredibly thorough and explained the "why" of each of his recommendations and the benefits/risks related to completing the recommended work (or not). The work we agreed to have done was to replace the ceramic chimney inserts (flu) for both the upstairs fireplace and the downstairs wood stove. The ceramic was over 45-years old and had deteriorated (as was obvious from the pictures they took during the inspection which I subsequently reviewed). I also wanted the chimney and outside wall repointed and some additional (minor) brick work on the cap and chimney shoulder. Damien also recommended the brick work be water proofed after the other work was completed. April 2021 - the crew arrived as scheduled and on-time. Team Lead (Rich) and crew (Reggie and Walter) were incredible. I've rarely seen people work so well together and work with such confidence and efficiency. They were dedicated to providing me a great result. This was scheduled as a three day job and was completed on time and on-cost (no surprises at the end). Damien returned (Day 4) to do the water proofing as recommended. He also repaired a roof-shingle that had been inadvertently bent during the chimney work (I did not even notice the bent shingle). "We have a historical restoration building in downtown Washington, D.C. We had sent out nationally 75 bids for period construction and historical restoration work. This job included replication or historical tiles in all bathrooms and also replication of historical tiles in all hallways. Also the replication/repair of period wooden windows, which were rotted, also floors needed structural repairs made. There was a large amount of decorative plaster relief work, which had to be repaired, and molds made to replicate areas that were non-existent. The exterior had a great deal of masonry repair work which included repointing of all brick and stone work. Also included in the exterior of this job was stone carvings that needed repair/replacement. Out of all of the responses to our bids which we national bids we centered upon the most knowledgeable and gifted company probably the best in the U.S.A which was Grady"s Construction and Plastering of Wilkes-Barre, PA. His unique gifts had given us the opportunity to bring back the granger and integrity of this very important historical structure in downtown Washington, D.C.
