"John did a great job removing the old prefab fireplace and brick surround and installing a new gas fireplace. Very professional work!"

"This company and its employees were AWESOME!! Connie was polite and very knowledgeable when it came to making the appointment for Ekramm to come out and service and clean our wood stove. Ekramm was AWESOME !!! He showed us pictures of how dirty our chimney was and educated us about the wood we use. There is a difference between dry and seasoned wood !!!!! I love it when I learn something new. We will definitely call you out next year to service our wood stove again. Sincerely, The Lindenmayers"

"They arrived on time, friendly and professional. cleaning the wood stove stacks was quick, they kept the work area clean. Our home has two wood stoves they were in and out in less than an hour."

"Spencer Construction and the entire spencerbrix.com team were amazing to work with! They came out to my home and listened to exactly what I wanted to do. I came into the project with an idea of what I want to do on the most fundamental level, they worked with me in breaking the project down in phases. Kevin's team guided me towards the beautiful end product by providing creative insight, recommendations and choosing only the best material for the job by providing transparency on cost vs quality. I just moved into the home, and this was one of first 'facelift' projects I wanted to do make the home my own. Now I often double back at the true transformation his team was able to complete, by installing real stone over the face of my attached garage and the face of my home, then replacing a rotted wood pathway with a stone pathway."

"We had Russ and Hunter come out to replace our wood burning fireplace with a gas insert and run a new gas line for said fireplace. They went so far above our expectations I wish I could give a higher rating. The install was painless on our part and they even removed an old non-working humidifier and replaced a worn out pipe in the garage for us in the process. You cannot go wrong hiring Eagle and Sons HVAC, they go above and beyond expectations. Also, the new fireplace is incredible!"

"Our gas fireplace (original to the home in 2001) started having a squealing noise when the blower was turned on.  For a while, it only lasted a couple minutes, but then it started happening all the time - making the fireplace unusable!  So I researched on YELP, looking for a company that would service fireplace inserts.  The first place I called had a ton of great reviews, but they couldn't get out to the house for a MONTH!!  Way too long to be without our fireplace!!  So next I tried Hamblen & Sons.
Tim Hamblen is the father - and handled my questions over the phone.  He is very a chatty guy - lots of humor...maybe a touch more joking than would be ideal - but he was a nice guy.  Due to the age of the blower unit, it would be a special order.  He provided a rough quote (based on another order he placed recently) of $450 or so and we decided to move forward with the process.  He called a week later (or so) and scheduled to come out the next day to install.
The Hamblen son, Drew, was the installer - and was super professional and personable.  He was great with my 1 1/2 yr old son watching his every move.  He installed the new blower and proceeded to clean the glass (we could never get it clean) and gave me the name of the cleaner he uses (I have since ordered it on Amazon!).  He also cleaned and tested the rest of the fireplace to make sure everything else was functioning correctly.
He gave me the final bill and it was under $400!!  What a nice surprise!!  We were prepared for close to $500 and it actually came to a little over $375 (including tax, etc).  He also asked about our water heater as the cost will be going up soon - do to new "features" - and he wanted to make sure if we needed one, we got on it soon to avoid the price increase.
I really liked working with this company and would recommend for sure.  We didn't really shop around much - time to be on the phone is hard to come by with little ones running around.  But we felt very comfortable paying what we did for the value we get out of our fireplace in not needing to have the entire house heated!!
Thanks, Hamblen & Sons Heating!!  We are warm & toasty in our family room!
