"Sammy did a fantastic job installing our fireplace! He communicated well, he provided a break down estimate and invoices as we requested. He went the extra mile to make sure we liked the brick/stone on the surround. Highly recommend him for all your fireplace needs!"

"Trevor was friendly , knowledgeable, and conscientious. He answered his phone promptly, listened to my concern, and scheduled me for a service call the same day. He worked efficiently and spent time showing giving me tips about the operation of my gas fireplace. I highly recommend him if you need service, or have repair or installation needs."

"Had a leaking fireplace. E-mailed through webpage evening of the leak. David was able to stop by the next evening. Immediately offered and performed a temporary fix (good for about a year) and recommended a larger, but reasonably priced permanent fix. I really enjoyed this interaction and am very hopeful that future work with David will be just as great. It's hard to find quality workmanship in Huntsville. I'm hoping these guys will get to become my go to company. So far so good. :D"

"Mr. Rogers and all of his crew were very professional, prompt and hard working from beginning to end. They went well above & beyond what was expected, working late into the night and on the weekend in order to finish the job before our scheduled move date of November 15th. Mr. Rogers and Wade, his foreman, made sure that all work was done properly. Many of the rooms required three coats of paint. They did a superb job of cleaning up after the job was done, including vacuuming carpets and cleaning all of the hardwood floors with Murphy's Oil Soap. This made our move-in prep much easier than it might otherwise have been. If you want the job done right, Brad Rogers Paint Contractors is the company to call.

"They came it and looked at my fire place cleaned it out. Checked the inside and outside and seal the outside first. They seal the outside and told me not to burn anything in my fire place until I had the fire place seal on the inside. I plan to call them soon and have them seal the inside.

Some cities, like New York City, ban wood-burning fireplaces altogether. In places like Colorado and the California Bay Area, laws dictate when you can use your wood-burning fireplace based on air quality. Since regulations vary by location, it's best to consult a local contractor familiar with your area's laws. You can also check the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) website for state ordinances and regulations.
Yes, you can add a fireplace to your existing home, but it requires careful planning and professional evaluation. You'll need to construct a safe chimney, ensure proper ventilation, and comply with local building codes and HOA regulations. This project involves significant structural modifications and specialized labor, so hiring a qualified fireplace contractor is essential to ensure safety and code compliance.
Fireplaces enhance a home's value because they create a warm and inviting atmosphere while adding a distinctive architectural feature. A fireplace not only elevates a residence’s appeal but also contributes to greater market value. Industry research confirms that homes with fireplaces command higher sale prices, and homeowners benefit from an improved living environment.
Yes, installing a fireplace increases your home insurance costs because it raises the risk of fire and may require additional coverage. A fireplace demands dedicated safety inspections and documented maintenance, and insurers enforce stricter requirements, which drive higher premiums. Homeowners must consult their insurance providers and adhere to regular inspection schedules to manage these increased costs.
