Provided an estimate for service - rebuild from roof flashing up, repointing masonry, repairing mortar joints by replacing anything that’s deteriorated with new mortar. replaced the chimney crown and created a drip edge, installed stainless steel chimney pipe, cleaned and inspected the chimney, spot replaced spalling bricks on the chimney, power washed and sealed/waterproofed the chimney. Cleaned up work area thoroughly and provided photographs of chimney repair work before and after. Throughout the process, Chuck kept me informed daily on the progress and any issues he had found. I called Shamrock and talked with Chris who was able to schedule a quote for the next day. Joe and Darien arrived and told me they could fix it up right there and then. "Project title is not the work performed - work was installing chimney cap. Rene of R&J Quality, LLC was extremely responsive (within 15 minutes) to my request to have a new chimney cap installed after the existing one had blown off due to extreme rust and age. From my vantage point on the ground, the second chimney cap appeared to be intact. He agreed to install the cap the next day even though there was snow and ice on the roof. Due to additional snowfall on the day of install, we agreed to reschedule for his safety on the roof. Two days later Rene came and installed the chimney cap despite there still being snow on the roof. He arrived at my home at the time he promised. He was very friendly and started working immediately. He took photos of the missing and exiting chimney cap. After examining the exiting cap, he showed me that it was also very rusty and that it would eventually need to be replaced. I appreciated him telling me about the condition of the existing cap. He did not try to hard sell me a new cap but rather was bringing the condition of the exiting cap to my attention. I thought it wise to have the other cap upgraded and replaced while he was here. I was very impressed with Rene and the work he performed. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing chimney work done. The cost of the two caps and labor was very fair and reasonable. "Our electric clothes dryer blew a thermal fuse because it got too hot. Fixed that but suspected a dryer duct blockage caused the high temperature. Found Chimney Masters through Angi. Requested quote. Good communication and scheduling process. Not cheap but reasonable price for the work done clearing out a 28 ft dryer vent that exists above the second story. Reasonable enough to do on their recommended every other year schedule. The cleaning made a mess outside but they cleaned everything up. They even reattached the dryer with a new flex duct. Would hire again."

"They were easy to schedule - despite many changes to the schedule by me. They arrived on time. Despite the pouring rain, they inspected the chimney. Took pictures. Explained what they found. Left an estimate for repairs. Inside, they swept/cleaned the fireplace. Fireplace is now so clean I don't want to use it. They checked the furnace. From the entry point of the house to the fireplace, they put protective covers on the floor to keep the floors free from dirt (from the chimney cleaning) and water from the outside (rain). Overall, they are a five star operation!"
