    I have an an older home, built in 19219. I retired about a year and a half ago and have been going through the house room by room, patching and painting the walls and ceilings. This house has seen many pets over the years and has numerous stains on the floors. Before calling in someone to do the floors, I looked at some YouTube videos for advice and then I tried sanding and sanding and sanding those areas, then applying 12% hydrogen peroxide. It worked very well on some and hardly phased other ones. I couldn't afford to have them all replaced so I went ahead and called a few outfits to get estimates to refinish the floors. Weles Wood Floor Services in Watertown Mass (weles.wood@gmail. com) was the only one that could do the job soon. Vladimir from Weles came out and discussed it with me. He sent me a proposal with 4 different options on how it would be finished. I chose the second cheapest one because I thought there's not much sense into getting a high grade job for this banged up floor and also because the cheapest option didn't use a drum sander which is what this floor needed. So Pasha was the young man who came out to do the work. After sanding most of the living room floor, instead of just showing me a brochure with the different shades that were available to me, he masked off 6 squares on the floor, each about a foot square, then applied the different shades that were available to me, some involving staining the floor first so I could see exactly what each one would look like. I found it hard to believe an outfit would go through that trouble. I had the bedroom done before and also because I'm a mechanic, I had a good idea of the work involved. So as the work progressed, I was surprised at how much work was going into this and I started to worry that he must be doing one of the higher priced options that I could ill afford, but when the floor was done, it was the price quoted to me with the only additional cost being I had later chose

    Zach and his crew did a fantastic job with the overall replacing wood bathroom floor with tile but then went beyond expectations and assisted with replacing new toilet, sink, baseboards, and trim. We are very satisfied and Zach is a terrific person who takes the time and energy to steer us in the right direction without overselling. Everything come out great and on budget and finished before Thanksgiving, which was important for our family. Thank you, Zach, and Footprints Floors South Shore.
