"Mikhail and his team did a great job. He came by to check out the job request on the same day that we contacted him. Our price quote came the next day and the price was very reasonable. He always kept in contact efficiently through text! Our job was pretty small, so he fit it in the following week and it was completed within 2 days! They put up plastic walls to block the dust and everything was left very clean. He recommended that we stick to a natural finish, and I'm glad that's what he recommended because our wood floors look really wonderful and there was very minimal smell during the process! Overall, we're really happy with the outcome! My only small concern was with the quarter mold installation. Our walls are old so it's not all flat along the bottom. I wish they had filled in the gaps between the wall and the molding before leaving, but he was kind enough to leave a tube of caulking for us at no additional cost."

"Jim came out to give us a quote for refinishing all of the hardwood floors on the 2nd floor of the house including the stairs. He was on the same page as us as far as leaving the wood natural. He provided a good explanation of what the process entailed.

I was able to schedule the work to be done in 2 weeks from when I decided to use Stewart's, which was great since I also need to schedule painting before we could move in.

Dana and Mike arrived on time the first day and got right to work. They cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day and answered my questions when I had them. After they were done and I was able to go upstairs to see the finished floors, I was stunned at how beautiful they looked. We had pulled up carpet and there were some water stains, and of course, the myriad holes from staples and nails, but none of that was visible except on the stairs.

The only issue I have is something that I didn't notice until a couple of days later. The baseboards and trim on the staircase were noticeably scratched by the sander at each tread. That is something we can deal with on our own. It will be a long time before we get over the beauty of the floors.

"Our bathtub was leaking and the floor was dipping. John the representative was wonderful to work with. In 2 weeks Matt the installer came out and removed our cast iron tub. He repaired the plumbing, put in a new subfloor and installed a walk in shower. He was a hard worker and answered any questions we had. Our bathroom looks beautiful! We are very happy. And there is a lifetime warranty!"

"Very happy. Floor looks beautiful, and price was very fair. John Rankin was easy to coordinate with beforehand. He hung plastic to protect our cabinets and basically walled off the area. We paid extra for him to come back after the floor was sealed and put ram board down to protect the newly finished floor from other contractors doing other jobs in the house. "I hired Brian to replace old carpeting, to add interior doors to create a den/a guest bedroom out of an unused dining room, and to re-do the nightmarish traffic jam created in a high-traffic area by 3 doors all opening into each other. The project grew, as these things go, and Brian also re-did the floor in the laundry room, removed a soffit that kept us from stacking washer and dryer, and repaired deck stairs. Brian did a terrific job on all these projects! I can't wait to bring him back to work on another area of the house. From the start, contacting Brian and making an initial appointment was very easy. He responded to texts and was available to meet on a fairly short notice, and on a weekend. He gave us initial estimate on the spot, on Saturday, and started the work on Monday. I was very happy that he was able to squeeze us into his schedule, so floors can be redone quickly and at a time that was convenient for us. Brian was the one who recommended we look at vinyl plank floor instead of carpeting or laminate. I never even heard of such a product until Brian mentioned it. It looks like wood, but unlike wood, it does not scratch and is completely waterproof. It worked perfectly for our needs to have pet- and kid-resistant waterproof floor. A week after install, our washer dumped water on the newly-installed floor in the laundry room. Thanks to Brian's recommendation and install, the new vinyl plank floor held all the water upstairs until we mopped it up. The home office directly underneath didn't have a drop of water on the ceiling and all the documents stayed safe and dry. Brian and his son Toby showed up on time, every day, and worked hard. I felt I could trust them to work on the house even when I was not there. The did a lovely job and the finished product looks really good, from floors to doors to deck steps. Brian went beyond the call of duty on the project and re-did the wobbly steps inside the garage, too. I am looking forward to working with them on more projects!"
