"I was thinking about getting some new carpet for my three bedrooms, and remembered that I used Valley Carpet One for my Kitchen flooring. The flooring is beautiful, and still looks as good as it was when it was installed."

"We visited the business several times before deciding to purchase carpet there. The owner was professional and provided information without being pushy. He came to our house to measure and provide a quote. The installers were efficient and completed the job in a day. They did not charge to move the furniture (the other businesses we looked into did). We could probably have paid less at Home Depot or someplace similar, but we were interested in patronizing a small business that used their own employees to install the carpet instead of contracting out. The carpet was installed in September and we have been very happy with it. I would recommend Carpet Time highly."

"Always Improve Flooring has done four jobs for me since 2015: 1. Installing new oak flooring in my kitchen and office and refinishing the rest of the oak flooring on the first floor of my house; 2. Refinishing wood flooring in two of my rental units; and 3. Leveling the floor of my garage and then installing new oak flooring as I was converting the garage into an ADU. Their workmanship was excellent. I am very happy with their work. Juan Hernandez, the owner, is very responsive. I found his pricing to be reasonable and he stuck with the quoted price. I strongly recommend Juan and his company."

"Very happy with the quality of the work. Always Improve Flooring was fast and our floors look beautiful. The value of the work is exceptional. Super pleased with the result."

"Moe did a great job on our carpets and upholstery. Our drapes were cleaned in place rather than taking them down. That was a good decision because the drapes are old and could not have with stood dry cleaning, and he was able remove water damage stains. I highly recommend All Shine Carpet Care."

"Staff was professional, careful, thorough, efficient, and friendly. They were able to repair the wood flooring as well as remove, replace and stretch the carpeting in a timely manner. I am a happy customer."

"I can’t recommend Royal Oak Flooring highly enough. My wife and I met Laurie at her shop on Ventura Blvd. (suggest you make an appointment to ensure finding her there) in order to figure out whether Royal Oak could accommodate what we were trying to do. Previously we’d talked with 2 big-box stores and 2 small flooring shops but they all seemed to be trying to sell us very basic (but cheaper) installations. We wanted a floor with a thin black strip about 5” in from the wall to serve as a border. We also wanted mitered 45-degree corners rather than butted. The Royal Oak store is not large, compared to, say, Floors & Decor, but it has an overwhelming variety of samples. And Laurie is the kind of person who will make a phone call on the spot to find out if what you want is possible. She gave us several 2”x2” samples to take home and emailed us quotes for the different flooring and installations we were considering. After a few days we settled on a floor with 5” wide maple planks and the black border. We appreciated Laurie’s willingness to listen to what we wanted rather than try to sell us what she’d already done 1000 times. We realized why Laurie had the confidence to consider alternatives to the basic installation after Rafael and Abel showed up. These guys were the craftsmen we were beginning to think existed only on some other continent, the craftsmen who’d have to be flown over to the U.S. and put up in a motel while they worked on our mitered corners and our black border 5” from the wall. My wife and I are both retired engineers, so (1) we’re detail-oriented, and (2) we got a lot of time on our hands. I can be a pain in the butt, for sure, but Rafael and Abel never shied away from questions. And they asked them too. At one point I asked Rafael if there was a saying in Spanish equivalent to “The Devil is in the details.” Smiling, he assured me there was. Quite honestly, it got so that just seeing these guys in the morning was reassuring. They cleaned up everyday before leaving, made Herculean attempts to keep dust from escaping, and in general tried to reduce their impact on the normal house functioning as much as possible. We’re very happy with the new hardwood floor we got thanks to Royal Oak Flooring."

"I hired Harvey Guzman flooring to replace extremely unlevel, cracked tile flooring in my business space, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. He gave me a very fair price, provided a quote quickly, and was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. I have a very intense work schedule and could only have work done on weekends, and he was more than willing to work with that and made it happen. The job was completed fast, super clean, and the quality of the work is excellent. The new flooring I chose is a perfect fit for the space and completely transformed it. I’m very happy with the results and would absolutely recommend him."

"Byron was a master craftsman and honestly, an artist. He is super detail protected and efficient without any quality loss. My wife and I were so impressed we wish we had another house to have him do the floors in because it was amazing to watch him work. He’s very fair and also a very nice person. We miss seeing him every day in our house!"

"Came out the day we called and we are able to install 3 rooms of carpet the very next day! They had to order the materials for the bathroom floor but were able to install them the next week."
