"Great! Susan came to my house within a few days of my initial phone call to her. I had explained what I was looking for, so she arrived with sample of differnet floors that might work well - we agreed on a beautiful faux barn-style flooring that has an intricate raised grain pattern and cork backing to keep it almost as quiet as the carpet had been. The flooring arrived in the warehouse wihtin a few days, and could have been installed almost immediately except for my schedule, so it had to wait a week till I could be home. The two installers arrived just a little earlier than I thought they'd be there (7:15), but that was all right since everyone was up and I was out front with the dog anyway. I couldn't believe how fast they ripped up all the rug, installed the floor, and cleaned up! They were done by around 11:00. The flooring went into the master bedroom, a very large walk-in closet (8x10) and a small hallway to the laundry room, so there were lot of cuts to make, and they also installed thresholds, shoe molding around the walls, and so forth - extremely professional job and very, very clean when they left. I had removed all the small items and decor from the room, as well as the longer hanging items and shoes from the closet, but the installers still had to move a lot of furniture to get the floor down, and it was all back in place when they were done. the floor is just beautiful now, and I wish I had done this years ago! (I have two cats and a dog who is not really committed to his house training, and that carpet was at least 20 years old... you get the picture.) I was delighted with the service throughout this experience and I love, love, love my new floor! I'll be calling Susan again."

"Simply put, Premier Carpet & Flooring is the best flooring provider we have ever used. Brian, the owner, is a great guy and is very personable. My brother had used them for a big job, and based on his positive experience and seeing the work done myself first hand, I drove about an hour down to their store in Lawrenceville to check out the showroom. Although the company is down in Lawrenceville, they had no issue driving 1 hr or so to our home in Scotch Plains to perform the work. The quality of the product is excellent and the pricing is definitely more than reasonable and competitive. Brian worked with us, so we got everything we wanted product-wise for an amount within our desired budget given how big the project was. We can already see a big difference with our home after having the new flooring installed. The new carpeting looks great and really highlights the color of the walls now that we went with a lighter shade for the flooring. The LVT with cork backing we had installed in a smaller room in our basement (will be used as an office now) looks beautiful. Brian's crew also installed quarter round and threshold molding around the LVT for a nice added touch. The crew, led by Augusto, was outstanding. They arrived on time and work very efficiently. It's actually very cool to watch how carpet is removed and installed on stairs, but you also see how laborious the process is. Augusto and his crew were clearly pros and made the process look quick and easy. The quality of their work cannot be justified by an Angie's List review, you have to see it in person to appreciate how great a job they do. Augusto and his crew were even courteous enough to add some additional quarter round they found in their truck to a section of our basement where the old quarter round had previously broken off. The clean up was much appreciated as well. These guys brought their own trash bags, brooms, and wet/dry vacuum and were constantly cleaning up both during and after the work was done--you'd have never even known they were there. Ultimately, this was a great experience from start to finish and I have already recommended Premier to all my family and friends. We will definitely use them in the future as needed.

"I recently moved to a senior home that was built in 1965; VERY little has been done to update this place since then. The oak hardwood floors were a MESS! They were very worn and full of (pet) stains throughout. While the quote from 3M was slightly higher than another quote I got, they were available when I needed them. Marcelo and his crew did a FANTASTIC job! The floors look amazing. They also put oak hardwood in the master bedroom and hallway that had been there when built but replaced by previous owners with cheap snap flooring in a hideous color. It was a BIG job but the results were beautiful. I would highly recommend 3M Mello Hardwood Floors, Inc. to anyone who asks. They were professional and answered any questions I had to my full satisfaction. 3M will be my “go to” for any future work I may require."

They also ripped up carpet in my LR, DR, and office, and on the landing and put in new hardwood and matched everything look like they were installed at the same time. My old disgusting floors look brand new and the match to brand new floors. They also recarpeted my master bedroom and did runners up the front stairs. They not only did immaculate work, but they also were helpful in my getting amazing pricing. It was a major project. They were on time, they moved all my furniture out. they put it all back in. I was very impressed especiallywith the staircase. He was very knowledgeable in the subject matter of removing and installing any type of flooring. They completed the job within 2 days. They come into your home ready to complete the job and no time wasted. He was far the most reasonable priced as far as installing the vinyl flooring. "The sales representative who came to my house was great. He was knowledgable, professional, and answered all my questions. There was less than expected communication with me during the ordering and receiving of the materials. It would have been nice to hear updates or have some contact while I waited for the materials to come in. The installers were great! Very mindful of my new floors and treated my home with respect. I ordered them food and encouraged them to take a break and drink coffee / water. I was disappointed to see sloppy trim work and the shower head leaked. However when the glass doors were installed (on a different day) that installer informed me the first shower head was broken and he had it replaced with a new one. Overall I love the new look of my bathroom. I’m still upset with the trim work because it feels sloppy and I am paying a lot for the overall project."

"I was very impressed with Five Star Hardwood Floors. They provided a detailed estimate outlining all of the costs involved with each of the things I needed done. They removed existing wood flooring ,ceramic tile, and carpeting and installed new wood flooring. Five star went above and beyond the scope of what I hired/paid them for. They picked up and delivered the wood flooring I purchased elsewhere. They also detached /reset all of the baseboard in my home for me because I did not want the base shoe molding. In addition, all of my phone calls were returned, the workers were respectful, and they arrived when they were scheduled to.
