Both of these are old pieces but they came out very nice. The job was well done and I would hire them again and recommend to others. They also called before they came to let me know they were on the way for my 1:00 appointment, and arrived on time! Actually about 10 minutes early. This was a first for me. Most workers who have come into my home are terribly late and I’ve had to wait hours on people. But not this company. I was impressed with scheduling and promptness."

"Kevin stayed in touch with me during the whole process from estimate to the final walk through. He was always professional and friendy on time or early. His wife Christine was a true blessing to meet. They cleaned up after themselves and that is alot of work when refinishing floors. The floors turned out beautifully and he custom made door thresholds to match our floors and it made easier for my husband to walk over that has problems with thresholds. He also had to match the stain between engineered hardwood floors and red oak floors and blend in red oak to the floor where I took out 2 closets to open up a room. It took skill to do a great job like that and Kevin has the skills. Call him if you need your floors refinishing. It is totally worth refinishing old solid floors."

"This gentle responded to my Angi/Home Advisors Request. He was courteous, professional as well as quite likeable. He and his workers arrived when they said they would and were very professional. I also asked them to install some motion lights on our front porch. As we also had some kitchen appliances delivered, I hired them to install them as well as they could do it quicker than the store I purchased them at. I plan to hire them again for my next project. Ricky was awesome!! His workers he had working on our projects were as well. I do not usually make a big deal out of reviews, as I expect honest work for a fair payment. Ricky & his crew were exceptional, and their hard work allowed us to return home sooner. They performed this work on our cabin. We are particular about how and when work is performed. We would hire them immediately for our next project. Our cabin is a rental and I want guests to have a pleasant stay. That means the maintenance needs to be done correctly. "Let me apologize now because this will be a lengthy review. We purchased a cabin in Cosby, TN (we live in Ohio) that was a total gut that had been started by the previous owner. We located Frank (JR - J and LRenovations) through Home Advisor. We were skeptical about hiring anyone we were not able to be around to oversee because we live out of the state. We met up with Frank (JR)and his lovely wife Lucille initially to discuss a leak in the roof. He brought his work truck and fixed the leak in the roof and refused to let us pay him. We knew then we had the right person for the job. We discussed our vision and everything we wanted and left things in his capable hands. I cannot begin to tell you the scope of work that was needed for this renovation. He completed everything we asked for from, tongue and groove walls and ceiling, electrical, laying tile and LVP flooring, plumbing, door, and cabinet installation, spraying the walls with poly, building steps, tearing out old fireplaces, spreading gravel and so much more! There are too many things to list! He even made it a point to be there when we had furniture delivered and counters installed so we did not have to make the trip down! Now that is someone who goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. He worked seven days a week and even on holidays (no we did not ask him to do this). His work ethic and craftsmanship are exceptional! This was a huge job for one person. We could not be happier with the end product. He went above and beyond our expectations, is a man of his word and truly cares about your property, his quality of work, and his customers. I cannot say enough great things about him and I encourage you to reach out to him for all of your home improvement needs.
