"Several months ago, I noticed that doors in my house were no longer closing and latching. Specifically, my front door no longer locked completely. Once I got it fully locked I could no longer open my front door anymore, so I knew I had foundation issues. I called Bay Area Underpinning to come look at my foundation and do some measurements. We discovered that my front living room was sinking approximately one and a half to 2 inches. The crew, Lance Sladek, Jake Hall, and Eddie Shaw, crawled under my house and dug 30 to 40 foot holes in the ground to install piers that would lift my foundation. These gentlemen worked in very cramped dirty conditions in 90-100° weather. I was extremely happy with their work and their dedication to doing the job correctly. My after the foundation lift, my front door as well as several other doors in my home were able to close and latch again."

"Overall, we had a positive experience with Hermanos Flores Gardening. We got off to a bad start when this contractor arrived almost 25 minutes late to provide an estimate and failed to call me that he was going to be late. I nearly gave up and left for work. I was also caught a little off guard when they arrived to do the work and immediately asked for $1,000 (38% of the total) to purchase materials. During our previous communication, there was no mention of this down payment. Two workers remained while the contractor left for several hours with my check. He returned much later with the materials explaining that the supplier didn't have the rock pre sorted in bins which required the him to hand load each rock. This contractor wasn't very responsive via email, either, and would take days to respond regarding our project requirements. Finally, we were able to reach an agreement on what would be done. Thankfully, they were able to accommodate our schedule and do our project when we were ready. I was present while they worked and was impressed with their quality and craftsmanship. The price seemed fair to me, as well."

Juan, the owner, was responsive, knowledgeable, honest, and very helpful throughout the process. He and his crew showed up when scheduled, finished on time and on budget, and communicated with me regularly during the work. They do great work and their pricing is very fair, and I will definitely use them for any future concrete or landscaping projects. I highly recommend them!"

"Oak called 2nd but came next day/ UN-prepared to do either repair or water test (requested on phone) or even replace with ready new ADA toilet that the lying receptionist booker said they have “some in stock and if not he will show a catalog of choices”. Guy came punctually with Nzo tools or appliances Or knowledge of what I asked for as an “URGENT repair/replace”. See ABC review same call. Not quite as bad as them doing same since we also still have broken HVAC too, both said they would fix ( I bought gasket already, they could have put in) or replace if they brought new toilet. Problem is not in water pipes except they need testing for lead - both said they would do this too - when I asked oak re taking a sample, how long sitting in pipes? He wiped off his soda water bottle and asked “which pipes?” !!"
