"Our project was one step and a landing on our porch. Approx. 30 sq feet. We had the top layer of tile removed and concrete around the door area chiseled and jack hammered away. They then cut fossil stone for risers and step/landing in large squares as requested. They did put up a moisture barrier at the entrance and calked after grouting the stone. This was done upon the City of Downeys expectations. I believe that wouldn't have been done had I not called the city to come by to clarify the code for this job. So my only complaint is that some workers, actually most don't keep up or research the code. Then when the city does visit you may have to tear down a project and re do it. That can be costly and frustrating. Our porch and step look great. Not sure if the cost to us was cheap, but it is done and looks great."

"Mike Guttman and this project exceeded my expectations in every way and at a reasonable price as well. Our new backyard was a mess - no lawn, downhill slope, unusable. Mike and his crew, who are amazing, poured a big patio for us, leveled the whole yard, built a fence, put in sprinklers, handled drainage from our downspouts, put in sod and even widened our driveway. My neighbors and friends are blown away by the change. We have a gorgeous backyard now intead of a brown hill. They came up with ways to save me money, were great to work with, respectful of our home and worked so hard and with such a great attitude I sort of missed them when they were gone. Many friends thought the project cost twice as much. He gave us a whole new space in the backyard and was fun to work with. I am going to use them for our front yard too. My husband and I interviewed several other landscapers and Green Republic Landscape with Motti running the operation was by far the most knowledgeable. It was easy to tell that he really knew what he was talking about and he was interested in learning about how we would use the yard and incorporating our ideas into his design.
