"Seagate foundations completed sill plate and rim joist work on my new house purchase. They scheduled the job within a short time of quoting the repair and did a great job during the repair. They made me aware of all findings before proceeding with the work. They also took pictures before, during and after the work which were shared with me for future reference. Overall They did a great job and I am 100% confident in the work they completed. I actually had them come back to quote another job on my property after this job as well. Tom came to quote the job and took extra time at my property to fully explain and show what work would have to take place to fix a foundation issue. Along with this he also provided 3 different options to complete the repair and talked me through the written quote so I could choose the best route for our property. "We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. We have a small house in Romeo that was built in the late 1800s. Our basement was in bad shape. All of the beams and support poles were wood and the majority of them were either sagging or cracking. We had one contractor tell us that no one was going to want the repair work, another basement repair contractor said that it was way beyond their capabilities and a different one came in and whipped up a $20k estimate within an hour and got pushy when we didn’t want to hand over a deposit. Then we found HomeSpec... Bobby from HomeSpec walked in and said he absolutely wanted our business but wanted us to have a structural engineer come in first so he could properly quote it and provide us with appropriate solution. Bobby provided us with a list of structural engineers and even called one of them up so we would have an idea of how much it would cost to get a report. Bobby came back with a manager after we got the structural engineering report and spent over two hours with us one evening getting a plan together. Two months later, the work began on time and was completed within the 5 day time period that they had promised us. The foreman, Roger, and all of the crew were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions and kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. We just had the local building inspector come out for the final walk-through and he was thoroughly impressed with the finished work. He said that whoever did the work was someone he would be happy to hire to do work at his own home. From start to finish, HomeSpec went above and beyond and I would highly recommend them to anyone!"

"Their work was excellent. The sales person came at 2:00 on Thursday Dec. 29 and sold us on the products and service. They had another project cancel and re-directed to our project with one person there the next morning. Had a minor issue with the 1st worker not plugging in the freezer when finished. We also expected more people to show up Saturday 12/31 (New Year's Eve), but they did not get enough crew to volunteer. One person came Monday, some more on Tuesday, then a full crew on Wed. to finish the digging and other work. They will be back later to seal cracks in the concrete floor which were under the furniture when they were there. Very impressed with the quality and follow-up to ensure we were satisfied."

"Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value I took multiple bids on my basement project across basement companies in Columbus. Mid state basement systems had the best and most fair pricing. They did not use any scare tactics and were upfront and honest. They were also the only company to use a laser level and show me the sag difference in my joists that I was experiencing. I hired mid-state basement systems to do crawl space support and repair on my load bearing wall in my basement. MY PROBLEM WAS UNIQUE AS LOAD BEARING WALLS NORMALLY DO NOT NEED TO BE REPAIRED LIKE THIS! At first, it was not level upon completion (BARELY 1/8 INCH OFF) in ONE spot and I let my sales rep Jiovanni know. the team came back out within 48 hrs and adjusted everything and let me take a look at it. They did a fantastic job. The installation crew even wiped down my floors for me after they were done! They were so polite, and respectful and made sure there was no damage to anything as they were moving steel beams to my basement ( my fridge was an object in the way to the basement door ) Do not let competitors make you question the validity of this business. they were fantastic. "ErieHome waterproofed my basement. The crew was polite, kind, and came in, did an excellent job in 3 days by digging a trench on the inside of the basement, removing the dirt from the bottom of the foundation, installed corrugated tubing, rock and then cement. They also installed a Humidex airpurifier and new sump pump with a backup pump. They cleaned up afterward. Any questions I had were answered in a respectful manor. I now have peace of mind knowing that I no longer have to monitor weather forecasts for rain or have to clean up anymore incoming water. The system is warranted for the life of the house and included within the price, which increased the value of my home."
