"I described the problem to Daniel - water entering garage from retaining wall adjacent to one side of garage. He suggested that rainfall from half the roof, which  exited from two downspouts near the retaining wall, was adding to the water exiting through the wall by the garage. The solution was a deep drywell and a set of connectors to the downspouts which used septic system filters for leaf cleanout. This works perfectly.
Job was done in one day and includes fill and grading. I'm very pleased with the results and plan to hire Littleton Earthworks again.
