"Our project was one step and a landing on our porch. Approx. 30 sq feet. We had the top layer of tile removed and concrete around the door area chiseled and jack hammered away. They then cut fossil stone for risers and step/landing in large squares as requested. They did put up a moisture barrier at the entrance and calked after grouting the stone. This was done upon the City of Downeys expectations. I believe that wouldn't have been done had I not called the city to come by to clarify the code for this job. So my only complaint is that some workers, actually most don't keep up or research the code. Then when the city does visit you may have to tear down a project and re do it. That can be costly and frustrating. Our porch and step look great. Not sure if the cost to us was cheap, but it is done and looks great."

"Mike Guttman and this project exceeded my expectations in every way and at a reasonable price as well. Our new backyard was a mess - no lawn, downhill slope, unusable. Mike and his crew, who are amazing, poured a big patio for us, leveled the whole yard, built a fence, put in sprinklers, handled drainage from our downspouts, put in sod and even widened our driveway. My neighbors and friends are blown away by the change. We have a gorgeous backyard now intead of a brown hill. They came up with ways to save me money, were great to work with, respectful of our home and worked so hard and with such a great attitude I sort of missed them when they were gone. Many friends thought the project cost twice as much. He gave us a whole new space in the backyard and was fun to work with. I am going to use them for our front yard too. "Hutch was professional and personable , easy to talk to about my design for front yard. His experience in design suggested minor adjustment of my idea/drawings but willing to landscape any way of my preferences. His contract was thoroughly itemized and didn’t add any additional “surprise” costs. Payments were installments as project progressed. Hardworking Crew stayed on expected timeline. Hutch came by every day to supervise progress of our landscaping. Our front and backyards were transformed from weed fields into beautiful landscaping. Removed weeds and unwanted plants, prepped surface, laid weed barrier and installed Artificial turf in backyard, laid pavers and stone walkway. Transformed front yard into rock riverbed surrounded by plants accented with boulders, and installing drip system. Planted border shrubs and a rose garden. Lined walkway and rose garden with pavers matching our flagstone. Our sewer line needed realignment which Hutch arranged to be repaired. Other company estimate quotes were either vague, didn’t itemize, or way over priced. Offered a few addresses for us to drive by to see his actual work which helped us on our decision to work with Hye Turf Design. I would highly recommend Hye Turf Designs. Thanks Hutch !"

"It was amazingly easy with the help of Motti Buskila. He understood what I was looking for as a concept and he is a real designer. He is also a certified arborist and when he got done our existing trees looked better than I have ever seen them. The price was fair and the work was superb. Motti did what he said he was going to do and he did it on time. He called back when I called him and he told me when his crew was coming and they came. My husband and I interviewed several other landscapers and Green Republic Landscape with Motti running the operation was by far the most knowledgeable. It was easy to tell that he really knew what he was talking about and he was interested in learning about how we would use the yard and incorporating our ideas into his design. We couldn't be happier with the end result. We now have a drought resistant yard that we can be proud of. He gets 10+ stars as far as we are concerned."

"**SIMPLY OUTSTANDING** Robert Garcia Concrete is the only company, in the past 3 yrs that we hire. During this time, Robert and his crew have completed 3 jobs for us. Everything from our first conversation about the upcoming project is fully estimated in detail and documented in both email and text by Robert. His attention to customer service is beyond compare. The cost is very fair. The level of perfection that the entire crew puts forth is really enjoyable to witness. Our most recent project was a concrete patio replacing a preexisting. wooden deck that, over the years was in disrepair. Robert and his crew demo'd the structure in short order, leaving a clean area. The next morning they installed rebar and forms. The next day they were here bright and early w/ concrete pump, truck, and in no time had the new patio slab looking fabulous. Robert himself, always returns the following day to remove forms, and check to ensure all is well. An impressive part of this project was the replacement of a small narrow set of precarious stairs with risers that were too high and too shallow. They completely transformed the area by removing the old, and made all new safe and aesthetically symmetrical entry to our family room from the backyard patio. These guys are top shelf!
