"This is THE company to use. I had an old 1907 wooden house sitting on a decaying brick foundation and needing a sister foundation installed and a complete seismic retrofit. Even during the bidding process, Brad from Alpha was extremely attentive without being assertive. I contacted four other companies although one I eliminated since they charged a fee for inspecting. Alpha was very timely with their bid and flexible when I needed help with the budget. All the way through the process, every single person at Alpha was extraordinarily good at customer relations, returned emails immediately, and stayed in constant contact throughout the entire process. Whenever there was a slight change to the original plan due to permitting or a plumbing adjustment, Alpha was very proactive and made sure everything was communicated clearly and promptly. I have really NEVER worked with a company that had such excellent communication skills. This is really one reason I selected them to do the work and, even though they may not have been the least expensive, it is worth the extra price for this reason alone. And Alpha Structural's work speaks for itself as well. Everything was done precisely and well beyond code, an unbid section of foundation was provided under the front porch without increase to the budget, and all materials used were of the highest quality. The project went on somewhat longer than estimated due to permit changes and a short weather delay but was still finished in a timely way. My home is our family's largest asset and it is a great relief to now know it is sitting on a solid foundation. "It went great!. Joe gave us a good estimate. The work was done in a timely fashion as well as clean up. My mother's back yard had a leaning block wall that needed repair, Actually we had to replace the wall. Joe's suggestions were great and the wall looks fabulous. "Hutch was professional and personable , easy to talk to about my design for front yard. His experience in design suggested minor adjustment of my idea/drawings but willing to landscape any way of my preferences. His contract was thoroughly itemized and didn’t add any additional “surprise” costs. Payments were installments as project progressed. Hardworking Crew stayed on expected timeline. Hutch came by every day to supervise progress of our landscaping. Our front and backyards were transformed from weed fields into beautiful landscaping. Removed weeds and unwanted plants, prepped surface, laid weed barrier and installed Artificial turf in backyard, laid pavers and stone walkway. Transformed front yard into rock riverbed surrounded by plants accented with boulders, and installing drip system. Planted border shrubs and a rose garden. Lined walkway and rose garden with pavers matching our flagstone. Our sewer line needed realignment which Hutch arranged to be repaired. Other company estimate quotes were either vague, didn’t itemize, or way over priced. "It was amazingly easy with the help of Motti Buskila. He understood what I was looking for as a concept and he is a real designer. He is also a certified arborist and when he got done our existing trees looked better than I have ever seen them. The price was fair and the work was superb. Motti did what he said he was going to do and he did it on time. He called back when I called him and he told me when his crew was coming and they came. My husband and I interviewed several other landscapers and Green Republic Landscape with Motti running the operation was by far the most knowledgeable. It was easy to tell that he really knew what he was talking about and he was interested in learning about how we would use the yard and incorporating our ideas into his design. We couldn't be happier with the end result. We now have a drought resistant yard that we can be proud of. He gets 10+ stars as far as we are concerned."
