"We needed a kitchen sink and faucet, a bathroom sink and faucet, and one toilet replaced. In addition, a leaky faucet in our tub/shower required repair. We had a second toilet replaced at a later date. The sinks and toilets were fairly routine and Mastropiero handled them smoothly and efficiently. They were also very helpful in providing specs before doing the job for what we should buy that would fit and be quality. Other plumbers had told us that in order to fix the leaky tub faucet they would have to break through the wall behind the tub. Mastropiero however was able to do it without having to break wall or tile. The job they did is excellent and likely saved us some amount of money and headaches in subsequent repairs. All the jobs are working well and are very attractive. The three technicians who did the work were professional, friendly and polite, and willing to answer all questions. With all the work that houses require over the years, it is nice to be able to rely on a plumber. We will absolutely use them again."

They arrived 2 hours after they confirmed they were on their way, OK, I was home anyway.  I was unaware the crew chief NELSON had no idea of what I wanted done so I spent 15 minutes (time is  ticking down) addressing what he should have already known.  He cut me off half way through my instructions to take a 5 minute phone ; meanwhile his crew were standing by the truck doing nothing!  When they finally got started, the 2 man crew did a fine job, but Nelson spent much of his time on the phone by the truck. I had a pile of brush I had collected in a pile which I had asked them to remove, but Nelson said they could not take it away even though their truck was only slightly full from my leaves!

I went outside to talk to Nelson after they had been at my home a cumulative period of 4.5 out of the 6 hours I hired them for, and they were NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!!! I tried calling the phone # I had but got no answer, so I wrote them an Angie's list email.  A few days later I got a response saying 

" I spoke to him (Nelson) when he was leaving the property @ 2:15 which is 15 minutes (he was gone before 2) earlier for the crew rather than him leaving and going to the recycling yard in Tinton falls and using up a man hour plus. I thaught this was explained to you and I told him to explain we would not be charging for the dump fees either but leaving 15 minutes early". Its hard to understand the previous information, but essentially, they said, they would leave 15 minutes (45 minutes in man hours) to take my brush to the dump.  NOWHERE IN THE ANGIE' LIST POSTING DID  SAY ANYTHING ABOUT TAKING BRUSH TO THE DUMP!

To be fair.....when I finally contacted John of "Brothers", he was MORE than willing to make things right, but making those arrangements was so difficult, I never had them back to complete the job satisfactorily.
