"Our oil burner began emitting Carbon monoxide (CO) early one morning and stopped working. We called several repair services and no one called us back in a timely manner. We found AB Castello's on Angie's List, completed the Angie's List form and Desmond from AB Castellos called us immediately. Robert arrived less than an hour later. The first thing he did when he arrived was check for CO emissions. He then determined that our 16 year old furnace needed to be replaced. Later that day we received an estimate via email, had all of our questions answered on the phone, and arrived the next morning prepared to remove and replace our furnace. Desmond and Robert worked all day, into the evening, in order to install the new furnace. They were determined not to leave us one more night without heat. They were very polite, pleasant, neat and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company should you need service of any kind. Their response time was better than almost any other contractor we have hired, and their work excellent. They also cleaned up very well before leaving our home, and were very careful as they carried equipment in and out of our house. I cannot speak highly enough of them"

"Green Apple has come to our rescue not once but on TWO separate occasions! The first was last summer when my AC system had issues and most recently was right before Thanksgiving when my steam boiler died. The boiler broke the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We called numerous plumbers that friends recommended - most of which either never called us back or they told us they wouldn't be able to do any work until the Monday after Thanksgiving (at earliest). We did get one estimate but it was a LOT more than we ever expected and more than anyone had suggested we should pay for a new boiler. Then we remembered Green Apple and gave them a call. It was amazing to have them answer the call (no typical answering machine) and say they would be here in 2 hours or less. Dean came as promised and the estimate was substantially less expensive than my other one. By this time it was at least 3pm on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. They immediately started the work and were still working at 9pm. They said if they stayed until 11pm they could probably finish that same day, but we decided to call it a night and finish the next morning. They explained everything along the way and the cost never increased from what was quoted in the estimate, even with the late hours! In fact, they also installed a new thermostat and a valve for one of my radiators - all at no additional cost. In addition, they (team of 4 guys) fixed some prior issues with the old boiler that weren't up to code. They cleaned up everything and even gave me an estimate for additional work I will likely have done in the spring. I highly recommend Green Apple for all your HVAC work and plumbing! I won't hesitate to call them for any future work I need done."

"The furnace in my rental property stopped working a week ago. Hired a contractor thru homeadvisor to take a look. Was told cracked heat exchanger and system needed replacing along with the outside AC unit. Got a quote from the contractor but decided to use homeadvisor again for more estimates. Air Temp came in with the most reasonable price. They replaced both furnace and AC unit in one afternoon. Tenant was really happy. I haven't checked AC yet. Would recommend nevertheless. "It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. I’ve gotten calls to insure we are satisfied with the work. Satisfied barely covers it- I am pleased to write this kind of review. "I urge everyone to take a look at their HVAC/furnace/boiler/ etc. and if you are staring at it, the way I was, screaming WHAT THE HECK, call Kyle. If you are Youtube how to splice wires to install that smart thermostat, stop it, call Kyle. Seriously, just call Kyle. You hear the horror stories, I called for what I thought was $X and the HVAC tech came and now I have a $200X invoice. That is not the case with Kyle. I have been there, do-it-yourself projects exist, but your heating and cooling is not one of them. Do not believe me, call around; then call Kyle, then call Kyle back because you realize he is available, upfront, and transparent. That is what I did. Kyle helped me demystify my heating and cooling system. Now I stare at my HVAC system, knowing what is what, and how I can quickly troubleshoot it and maintain it. What surprised me the most, this is not what Kyle was required to do. He came to help us with something unrelated. Nevertheless, he stayed late, and answered all the questions my wife and I had; we had a lot. It felt like we had a friend over the entire time. Sure enough, that's how it felt when he left. "I would highly rate the company. My furnace was working, so I hired another company to diagnose it. The service person came and removed the motor. He stated that the motor needs to be replaced and will cost me $1500 to do so. Since my furnace is old, it is better I replace it and will cost me $5000 for a new furnace. He charged me $170 for coming and left the motor outside the furnace stating since it is not working, there is no point putting it back. So, I called 5-6 other companies for a quote and everybody gave me the same ball park number. I had got a promotional offer from Advanced Professional, so I wanted to give them a try. From the very first call, Advanced Professional was truly professional. Valentina was extremely courteous, responsive and knowledgeable. Joey was the technician that came over. He tested the motor and stated that there is nothing wrong with it. It is the capacitor that is not working. He replaced the capacitor and placed the motor back to the furnace and my furnace was working. It is now a week since I called Advanced Professional and I am very happy with their services. I gave a C to Punctuality. But now I can understand why they are in so much demand. I have saved their number and would definitely call them again if I need to."
