JR recommended a torsion spring slightly longer than the original installed by the builder. The reason was that the original had snapped after only three years, and while it could have been defective, the thought was that a spring slightly larger than that recommended by the manufacturer would create a better system. He also explained to me that there was no reason to replace the other at this point and that there would be no future savings in the case I did, that I would be charged the same now as later since the second diagnostic fee would be waived. Angel performed the installation. The consummate pro, he was extremely careful and exacting in all aspects of the job. Naturally, he made certain that the tension for both the new right torsion spring and the old left torsion spring was the same. A line is drawn across the length of the torsion springs so that the rotations can be measured. Angel also answered my questions as he completed the different stages of the work. "Kudos to Glenn Cavada and his men! This is how every contractor and job SHOULD go. In mid July '22 my husband had posted on an Angie's List-type website for epoxy installers to have our garage floor refinished. Glenn responded the same day and was the only contractor who responded at all. We expected to be told that it wouldn't be able to be done for weeks or months. Not so. We could have had it done the next week! There was a DIY epoxy job on the floor that had some leveling cement underneath that was cracking and pulling up in places. Glenn said it looked like most of it was in good condition and hoped that it wouldn't have to be ground all the way down, which would have added considerable cost to the job. It couldn't be determined if that would be the case until after the job was started. We could have been "taken". Glenn was honest and reported that it did not have to be ground down. The job turned out BEAUTIFULLY, and meticulous care was taken to replace the transition between the driveway and the garage floor. We are very pleased. Thank you!"
