"got on a list for garage door service. they were the only ones to call. did a fine job with diagnosing problems. Needed a whole new system (ours was 25 years old). He had everything with so install was quick and easy. I knew ahead of time of possible price for a new one so the cost was not a shock."

"I recently had my garage door serviced by reliable garage services and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Eric was prompt, professional, and took the time to explain the issue and my options. The repair was completed quickly and the quality of work was outstanding. I appreciate the honest communication, fair pricing, and the fact that Eric personally handled everything from start to finish my garage door works perfectly now. Highly recommend reliable garage services to anyone looking for trustworthy, efficient, and friendly service."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

We are a General contracting company. We perform all services involved in the completion of unfinished space. We do hire sub contractors when needed. We also stand by their work as well. Though we have only been in buisness for a short time. we have a combined 37 years construction experience.
Enclosing a carport essentially turns it into a garage. You’ll start by framing and finishing exterior walls, then add a garage door (averaging $1,200), windows, and wiring for lights or outlets.
Plan for site prep and, if needed, a thicker slab to handle the added weight. Once the walls are up, insulation, drywall, and exterior siding create a secure, weather-tight space that protects vehicles and gear year-round.
A well-built carport may not add a huge dollar figure to an appraisal, but it can boost buyer appeal. Covered parking protects vehicles and lawn equipment, sharpens curb appeal, and fills what might otherwise be an empty driveway space. If the carport matches your home’s style and stays in good repair, it can make the property more attractive and competitive when you decide to sell.
Most cities and counties require a building permit for a new carport. Fees range from $60 to $800, depending on local codes and the size of the structure. Getting the permit upfront ensures the carport meets zoning rules and HOA guidelines, protecting you from fines or expensive retrofits later. Check with your building department—or ask your contractor—before ordering materials or scheduling installation.
A poured concrete slab is the gold standard for carport foundations. Concrete delivers superior load-bearing strength, keeps posts level, and resists shifting in freeze-thaw conditions. While gravel, dirt, or permeable pavers cost less upfront, they can’t match concrete’s long-term stability, especially if you might convert the carport into a garage later. Investing in a slab now can save money and hassle down the road.
Pre-made kits start at $300 and bundle all the required parts—sometimes installation, too—making them the most budget-friendly option. Custom carports cost more ($12 to $40 per square foot plus labor) but let you match the design, size, and finishes to your home.
If price and quick setup top your list, go with a kit. If you have a tricky layout or want a seamless aesthetic, investing in a custom build is worth the premium.
