"Absolutely Amazing! I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from HT Garage Door Services. My old chain link garage door openers started making loud noises right before one of them snapped a cable trapping my car inside the garage. I contacted HT Garage Door Services and from the first conversation with the owner, I knew I was in great hands. He came right over and gave me a full inspection of the doors, assessment of parts, and new opener options. No gimmicks, no overpricing, and no unnecessary changing of parts. He fixed my door and installed 2 new belt drive openers. Now that’s efficient, honest, and courteous service you can trust! I will refer HT Garage Door Services to all of my friends. Thank you, Tan, you’re the best!!"

"Outstanding service. Had a spring break on my garage. Wallen garage got back to me right away and even made it out the same day. Pricing was reasonable for todays climate and the job was done within an hour and half of arrival. I will be recommending their service to anyone I know who needs garage door repairs. If I could give more than 5 stars I would."

"Eddie from Reasonable Garage Door Services was the first to respond to my request for service. He was very personable. We discussed what I needed and he gave me a quote that seemed reasonable. He arrived on time and worked diligently to complete the work within the time frame we had agreed on. He answered my questions about the operation of the garage doors and linked my car with the remotes. My only issues were that the service cost a little more than we had agreed and I cleaned up a little bit of trash from the installation. No big deal for me really but that is why I gave him 4.5 instead of 5.0. I would hire him again because I value dependability and a good personality."

"Very thorough repair and lubrication of the tracks for 4 garage door openers. Made sure all were operating properly. Would highly recommend!"

Enclosing a carport essentially turns it into a garage. You’ll start by framing and finishing exterior walls, then add a garage door (averaging $1,200), windows, and wiring for lights or outlets.
Plan for site prep and, if needed, a thicker slab to handle the added weight. Once the walls are up, insulation, drywall, and exterior siding create a secure, weather-tight space that protects vehicles and gear year-round.
A well-built carport may not add a huge dollar figure to an appraisal, but it can boost buyer appeal. Covered parking protects vehicles and lawn equipment, sharpens curb appeal, and fills what might otherwise be an empty driveway space. If the carport matches your home’s style and stays in good repair, it can make the property more attractive and competitive when you decide to sell.
Most cities and counties require a building permit for a new carport. Fees range from $60 to $800, depending on local codes and the size of the structure. Getting the permit upfront ensures the carport meets zoning rules and HOA guidelines, protecting you from fines or expensive retrofits later. Check with your building department—or ask your contractor—before ordering materials or scheduling installation.
A poured concrete slab is the gold standard for carport foundations. Concrete delivers superior load-bearing strength, keeps posts level, and resists shifting in freeze-thaw conditions. While gravel, dirt, or permeable pavers cost less upfront, they can’t match concrete’s long-term stability, especially if you might convert the carport into a garage later. Investing in a slab now can save money and hassle down the road.
Pre-made kits start at $300 and bundle all the required parts—sometimes installation, too—making them the most budget-friendly option. Custom carports cost more ($12 to $40 per square foot plus labor) but let you match the design, size, and finishes to your home.
If price and quick setup top your list, go with a kit. If you have a tricky layout or want a seamless aesthetic, investing in a custom build is worth the premium.
