"Good end result, but be ready to run the project yourself I hired Topaz Remodeling for a 50K basement finish. Some areas look good. But it required constant oversight. The serious stuff: The crew punctured a fully exposed water pipe 6 inches in front of them. Live wiring was left exposed above the ceiling with no junction box. I found it. That knocked out my greenhouse circuit, costing me about half my plants. Drywall went up before these issues were caught. Management: I was told a manager would be on site every other day. I saw one once. Communication went quiet after payments cleared. After a nearly two-hour milestone meeting, they requested payment early and disputed the terms. Quality: The shower door didn't fit because the base had a non-standard 2.5" threshold. The replacement failed after a week.
