Comment: both remotes are not working correctly. I put in brand new batteries in both because I thought it was just a weak battery problem. It didn't help. If I hold either remote right next to the receiving unit, it will activate the motor. If I pull the remote even a foot away, it no longer activates the motor. Sounds to me like I need new remote switches and to have them programmed. Although I suppose the problem could be with the receiving electronics in the motor unit. I'll a pro to check and tell me which to do and then do it.
