"New Life Handyman Services owned by Bobby Nesbitt is a very reliable, professional and friendly business. We had a few drywall repairs that were rather tricky and he made the work look easy. He restored each repair location to its original paint and visual condition. I would highly recommend Bobby Nesbitt for any drywall, carpentry or remodeling projects."

"We used Mailbox Xpress in the summer of 2022, and I have been remiss in not submitting a review. Jimmy was very easy to work with, responsive and friendly but professional. He replaced our old rusty mailbox with both a new mailbox and wood post. Jimmy even took the metal numbers from our old mailbox, painted them, and placed them on the other side of our wood post at no charge. He was great to work with, and I highly recommend his services!"

"“I contacted a home warranty service for a blocked drain in a bathroom sink that I was unable to clear on my own. Thomas arrived at my house in a very timely manner. When he arrived I found Thomas to be a very personable and knowledgeable person. Thomas was able to clear the blockage in a short time. Thomas was respectful of my home and he cleaned the work area well before he left. Thomas represented himself and the home warranty company very well. I will consider hiring Thomas for other jobs in the future."

"Vicente Pro Handyman was excellent. Marvin was very responsive from beginning to end. His gave a strong, competitive quote for a basement finishing job. They framed out a room, insulated, dry walled, and painted. The outcome looks and works great. His team showed up punctually every day. They were considerate and clean. They finished the five day project on time, as estimated."

FAQs for handyman service projects in Abell, MD

To measure the right size for a pet door, start by measuring your largest pet. The flap should be at least one inch taller than your tallest pet and at least two inches wider. It's also important to measure the step-over, which should be no more than one-third of your pet's height from the floor to the back.

Pet doors are safe when you implement proper security measures. Opting for models with locking covers or electronic controls—such as microchips or collar-activated sensors—enhances safety by ensuring only your pet can use the door. These features are especially valuable if you have young children or want to prevent stray animals and intruders from entering your home.

Pet doors can affect your energy efficiency by allowing outside air to enter and affect the temperature in your home. You can minimize this impact by choosing a high-quality, insulated pet door that's properly sealed and weatherproofed. Investing in energy-efficient models helps maintain indoor temperatures while giving your pet the freedom to come and go.
