"ARS stands by their word! Customer satisfaction and a good quality of work is important to them. They will do whatever it takes to correct any customer or equipment issues. Mark is an amazing HVAC technician. He knows his stuff and has proven to be trustworthy in his heating/cooling system knowledge and repairs. When I had a recent burdensome furnace ignitor issue arise. ARS was as puzzled as I was. They assured me that they would do what it took to identify and troubleshoot the problem. "We had outrageous electric bills last winter so we called John to service and tune up our furnace before this current winter. We had way better electric bills this winter and are so happy with our service. John and his employees were all very professional and always arrived in a very timely manner! "Wow! We laughed about how my new furnace moved me into the 21st century. And I added central air...all for a reasonable amount. The contractor explained the pros and cons of what was available and we came upon a great heating & cooling system. I felt bad they had to work so hard to remove the old furnace but they were professional throughout. I absolutely love my lower utility bills!"

"I recently purchased a historic Pittsburgh home with an entirely shot radiant heating system. The boiler was shot and the previous owner had let the pipes freeze, so all but one of the radiators were busted and needed replaced. I had 3 estimates for repair. Of the three, only Home Mechanix were willing to objectively tackle the difficult job and make a reasonable quote. The other two encouraged me to can the radiant system. One even requested $40k just to get functional heat again.... Home Mechanix got an entirely new system up and running for a fraction of that cost. Matt worked with me to make important decisions such as which type of heat to use, which boiler to install, which kind of radiators I would want (added a Euro style towel radiator in the bathroom), and they even found me 7 used radiators to install. The heat works very well and the system I was recommended is top notch and has many extra features and new technology "little touches" from Home Mechanix to make it efficient and durable. They are also Nest Pros, so my built-in 1903 Pittsburgh home now has smart thermostat capabilities. I would give 6 out of 5 stars if I could. The attention to detail, customer service and overall value of this job made a big investment decision a lot easier, and I now know I have a heating and cooling team I can trust for as long as I live in Pittsburgh."
