"Our 30YO furnace took its last breath on a Sunday during 30F temps. We spent a couple cold days trying to find a company available to help us out. Luckily we also have a heat pump that heats part of the house, so it wasn’t an emergency. No one had availability. In our search we submitted a project request on Angi (formerly Angie’s List), and Product Air called us on Tuesday morning to say they could be there in an hour to give a bid. They came and gave us a reasonable bid. Given the urgency, they could have gouged us but they did not. The next morning they were there at 9 AM to install a new gas furnace. When they finished I asked them if they also did maintenance on heat pump systems. They said yes, and they did the maintenance right there on the spot. On top of doing a great installation and bringing our heat pump system current on maintenance (without prior scheduling!), they cleaned the garage up after their work to a state well beyond our expectations. They were also very polite and pleasant to work with. We will definitely call them again for maintenance and any HVAC needs we have in the future!"

Before that he also tried helping me with a quick fix over video call (free of charge), but because there were major problems with Furnace we ended up replacing the entire unit Serge arranged the new unit on the same day and worked through the evening with his crew to get it going. This was the night before winter storm kicked in - so saved us some chilly nights. He provided me a very competitive price. Also provided me 3 years of Labor warranty. He and his crew is polite & nice to talk! Overall pretty satisfied with the service."

"Jeff is amazing, transparent, thorough, and polite. Would 100% recommend him without hesitation. We had a different HVAC company out for the same issue. Their technician was here for ~4 hours, had little experience with boilers, and walked away quoting us $800 (in addition to the $150 it costs for the diagnostic) to replace a part he was "fairly certain" was the problem. Since that visit did not fill us with confidence, we looked for other companies and found Jeff and Resolute Plumbing and Heating here on Homeadvisor. Thank goodness we did!! From the first contact with him on the phone he was open about his thoughts on what might/might not be causing the problem. Clear about pricing, and very accommodating in scheduling. On the day of the appointment he was here for about 2 hours, much of that time he spent educating me about our system, and left having solved the problem with a simple repair he did on-site, not replacing the entire part. He was friendly, straightforward and a thoroughly enjoyable person to have around that entire time. "I called airpros energy as a secondary opinion on my furnace with cracked heat exchangers. Their service tech Richie showed up on time, was friendly and polite. He showed me exactly in person what Greenwood heating company told me (cracked heat exchangers in my old payne furnace behind the high limit). Greenwood did not take the time or even offer the time to show me this and Richie gladly did with his flashlight and mirror. We spoke about repair vs. replacement, I choose Airpros energy to replace my furnace for their honesty and time to show and explain from start to finish."

"Blue Flame employees are true professionals who have set the bar high. Compared to two other equivalent HVAC companies, Blue Flame is better in every way! Blue Flame was one of three companies from which I received a quote for the installation of a heat pump and furnace. I made the request for bids via each company’s website all within one weekend. Two of the companies replied within a couple days, to nearly a week later. Blue Flame was the first to call, almost immediately during their next business day. They were able to get somebody over to my house as soon as I was available. This contrasted greatly with the other companies where appointments were not available for many days or weeks. Before the day of the quote, the Blue Flame office called and informed me that their representative would be there within 30 minutes of the window that was originally set up. Then, the representative himself called to let me know he was on his way. It was like a notification sandwich! This became the routine every time they visited. The Blue Flame representative was extremely knowledgeable and walked me through every nuance of what I was asking for. He conducted his introduction and then went immediately around the house, into the attic (where the furnace is located), into the garage to inspect the power panel, and all through the house to identify the heating registers. He was extremely clean. Before entering the house, he put on protective covers over his shoes. He took them off when he entered the garage and put them right back on before coming back in. I mention this because the other companies which provided quotes did not do this. Also, after he left the attic, some of the blown installation fell down onto the carpet. I told him not to worry about it; I would vacuum it up. He insisted on vacuuming the little mess and went and grabbed his own vacuum! Once again, this compares to the other companies who made a mess and did not clean it. In fact, one company asked to borrow my ladder to access the attic! He spent a lot of time discussing how Blue Flame does an install. The attention to detail that he was claiming was exactly the level that he was demonstrating by his awareness of cleanliness while accessing different areas within my house. He spent nearly two hours in my house explaining every aspect that I asked…and I asked a million questions. He provided an on-the-spot quote for the budget that I was trying to stay within. Then, at around 8:30 that same evening, he followed up with a formal quote via email. I couldn’t believe he was still working … that guy deserves a raise! While waiting for the other company bids, I asked follow up questions via email. The Blue Flame representative would reply or call nearly immediately, as if my question was more important than anything else he was doing. Needless to say, Blue flame won the bid, hands down – and not just due to t"
