I happened to need help with my pilot light last week and realized that I was breathing in some nasty stuff due to the condition of my still running circa 1978 heater. Needless to say I made the decision my health was worth the investment of a new HVAC system (and I wanted EVERYTHING replaced). I now have a MERV 11 filter, UV light and new duct work, everything.
