When our water heater broke, we called several places. They were the first to respond - Ahmad was able to come out to our house within an hour or so. He answered our questions, let us know why he knew it needed to be replaced (as opposed to repairing a link), and began working. He noted that our previous water heater had been installed incorrectly, and he re-welded a pipe so that the new water heater could be installed on a more level surface. While he was at our house, we asked if he could also install a new kitchen faucet that we had been meaning to replace. He was able to fix it in 20 minutes. For both repairs, he left the worksite clean. I'm glad our water heater broke that day, because we learned they also do air conditioner repair. Dean was much more knowledgeable and provided us with more repair options than any other company we had contacted. We had been under the impression that both our air handler and condenser needed to be replaced, but he let us know that although the condenser needed to be replaced, only one part of the air handler - the coil - needed to be replaced. This saved us thousands of dollars. Dean also patiently answered our questions about other air conditioner options we were considering (e.g., whether to get a a unit with greater capacity). While we were waiting for parts to be available, they did a temporary fix of our old air conditioner so that we didn't melt during the heat wave. On the day of the repair, everything went smoothly - they kept me informed about progress and cleaned up after themselves. I'll definitely call Green Apple the next time I have a plumbing or HVAC issue!"

"The furnace in my rental property stopped working a week ago. Hired a contractor thru homeadvisor to take a look. Was told cracked heat exchanger and system needed replacing along with the outside AC unit. Got a quote from the contractor but decided to use homeadvisor again for more estimates. Air Temp came in with the most reasonable price. They replaced both furnace and AC unit in one afternoon. Tenant was really happy. I haven't checked AC yet. Would recommend nevertheless. "I urge everyone to take a look at their HVAC/furnace/boiler/ etc. and if you are staring at it, the way I was, screaming WHAT THE HECK, call Kyle. If you are Youtube how to splice wires to install that smart thermostat, stop it, call Kyle. Seriously, just call Kyle. You hear the horror stories, I called for what I thought was $X and the HVAC tech came and now I have a $200X invoice. That is not the case with Kyle. I have been there, do-it-yourself projects exist, but your heating and cooling is not one of them. Do not believe me, call around; then call Kyle, then call Kyle back because you realize he is available, upfront, and transparent. That is what I did. Kyle helped me demystify my heating and cooling system. Now I stare at my HVAC system, knowing what is what, and how I can quickly troubleshoot it and maintain it. What surprised me the most, this is not what Kyle was required to do. He came to help us with something unrelated. Nevertheless, he stayed late, and answered all the questions my wife and I had; we had a lot. It felt like we had a friend over the entire time. Sure enough, that's how it felt when he left. In conclusion, thank you Kyle for being genuinely you; kind, courteous, and professional. "Sheldon was very nice and was able to come to us the same day when others could not get to us until the next day or after. We already knew what the problem was and he did not come in and try to tell us it was something else, trying to make more money off of us. He even took the time to make sure it really was the problem that we had been told. He took his time and did not rush even though it was after 6 pm. He checked other rooms to ensure they all were heating correctly. Very professional, very nice guy and his prices were VERY reasonable. As a first time homeowner, we were trying to brace for a huge repair bill or worse having to get a new furnace. Sheldon made us feel secure that we were getting the job done and done correctly. He even asked that we call the next day to ensure all was well, which it was. We would highly recommend him and I will be keeping his number locked in for any future heating and air needs."

"Work was overall good. Asked me to sign up for yearly service plans for A/c, heating and plumbing which I deferred. Tested my water and advised filter and water softner . Final cost was reduced twice ( home advisor discount and internet coupon) but still seemed high- had leaking bathtub faucet that required replacement"
