"James Stone was really good. We had a little confusion about the rebate for the original furnace they were going to install but we came to an agreement and I received half of the rebate due to me not being qualified for the full rebate. "It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. I’ve gotten calls to insure we are satisfied with the work. Satisfied barely covers it- I am pleased to write this kind of review. "I originally reviewed Dawson Mechanical Contracting two years ago when this furnace was originally converted to gas. (Superbly.) I called them again this morning because the overflow tank was leaking water--today is a Saturday after a snowstorm--and Dave and his crew came out a few hours later and repaired the entire thing. (A serious and complicated job.) I'm grateful for the speed and professionalism Dawson Mechanical Contracting showed. My heat is working again, and the price was fair. I recommend these guys without reservation. Two thumbs up."

"Called for a furnace tune up before turning heat on for the season. Fair flat price and quickly available. Felix was efficient and knowledgeable and gave me advice for ongoing maintenance. Another company was charging by the hour and said it would be at least an hour, hour and a half which does not line up with my past experiences having a tune up done."

"They installed AC in our 1923 house back in 2006 and our AC bills are lower than our heat! Excellent courteous clean work. This past spring the fan motor for this system died and because of it’s design was an expensive repair but again the work was done fast and clean. Highly recommended!"

"MDL Electric was a great Angie's List find! My tenant's washer stopped working in the middle of a load. I also needed to have 2 breakers and 6 GFI outlets replaced. Spoke to Miguel at 1:30 this afternoon. He was able to get a technician over there in about 30 minutes. He explained all that needed to be done and, less than 3 hours later, the work was finished and everything was left neat and clean! Very prompt and professional. Now THAT’s customer service!
