Technician showed up promptly and got the furnace operating but could not get heat into the house. Had to reschedule to have zone valves replaced. Technician show up late and didn't have the required parts. Had to reschedule again.
The third technician showed up on time with all the correct parts and worked most of the day to get the system operating properly.
He was completely knowledgeable and very conciencious that everything was working correctly.

Nevertheless, he stayed late, and answered all the questions my wife and I had; we had a lot. It felt like we had a friend over the entire time. Sure enough, that's how it felt when he left. In conclusion, thank you Kyle for being genuinely you; kind, courteous, and professional. "We entered into contract on 8/21. Due to problems with insufficient gas service to the dwelling ultimately, we had to wait until November 12th to begin the generator installation. The real issue we had to wait for PSE&G to install a larger service.   
The job was difficult because the gas and electric service are on opposite sides of the house, and the gas meter is inside the house. There were evergreens in the approved area so they had to remove a tree to install the generator pad.  Nevertheless the MDL crew worked tirelessly to ensure a proper installation. I am very picky and suspect of contractors (there are so many BAD ones in this area) to begin with but Miguel remained in contact with me and kept me apprised every step of the way.
MDL is a family owned business and each member exhibits the same pride and dedication to quality as Miguel.
 
There were issues with the site survey so the permits were delayed. There were issues with the gas service location and size so we were hard pressed for a viable solution.  In the end, due to installation challenges we settled on the originally recommended solution.  Final inspection isn?t for another few weeks so we haven?t had the opportunity to test the system however I am confident that it will function as expected.
He also upgraded another circuit panel in the basement and addressed a wiring issue with one of the zones for my gas heat I purposely omitted the price for the job which was outstanding and Pre Sandy however I do believe his Post Sandy price will be exponentially better than the  local competitions Pre Sandy price. So when he quotes you his price just remember the days of darkness and the long lines you waited in to get gasoline to keep that LOUD Portable Generator operational.
 Although I don?t foresee any additional electrical projects for a while but when needed, MDL Electric will be the only company I call."
