Technician showed up promptly and got the furnace operating but could not get heat into the house. Had to reschedule to have zone valves replaced. Technician show up late and didn't have the required parts. Had to reschedule again.
The third technician showed up on time with all the correct parts and worked most of the day to get the system operating properly.
He was completely knowledgeable and very conciencious that everything was working correctly.

"This is a contractor we all want to find, to hire someone that will not try to talk you int.o a new furnace when the thermostat just needs to be reprogrammed after replacing weak batteries. The service man tested a few electrical components on the furnace, and he concluded that the furnace was not the problem. "McCrea replaced a 20 year old HVAC system with a new Trane 4-ton XL16i condenser, XV80 furnace and new coils. The salesman, Mark, was very responsive to my request for quote changes or additional items, including financing options. He was very knowledgeable and patient through the entire process as I worked with other companies for competing quotes. As a result of Mark’s recommendations and excellent pricing, I added on a new Aprilaire 1210 filter box (including replacing a portion of the return duct work/box) and an Aprilaire 600M whole house humidifier.
