The man who installed it and had been servicing it was too busy to come for a week. I called MSD and was given an appointment for 8 AM the next morning. They were prompt and courteous, fixed my problem, and were reasonably priced. I will be calling them in the future."

"Our oil burner began emitting Carbon monoxide (CO) early one morning and stopped working. We called several repair services and no one called us back in a timely manner. We found AB Castello's on Angie's List, completed the Angie's List form and Desmond from AB Castellos called us immediately. Robert arrived less than an hour later. The first thing he did when he arrived was check for CO emissions. He then determined that our 16 year old furnace needed to be replaced. Later that day we received an estimate via email, had all of our questions answered on the phone, and arrived the next morning prepared to remove and replace our furnace. Desmond and Robert worked all day, into the evening, in order to install the new furnace. They were determined not to leave us one more night without heat. They were very polite, pleasant, neat and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company should you need service of any kind. Their response time was better than almost any other contractor we have hired, and their work excellent. They also cleaned up very well before leaving our home, and were very careful as they carried equipment in and out of our house. I cannot speak highly enough of them"

"Dave (Dawson Mechanical) is awesome. He is the only plumbing company I use. His knowledge is on another level and he runs a great company. It is easy to get an appointment and he responds right away. You can feel confident, if you have an emergency or non-emergency situation you that can get touch with him. In the past he installed a new boiler, furnace and converted us over to gas from oil heat. The work he and the guys did on the furnace/boiler is so good that other contractors comment on it. It really is a work of art - very neat. Most recently, he helped fix a bad plumbing job a contractor did during a bathroom model. The bottom of the toilet was flooding and the shower made a gurgling noise every time the toilet was flushed - it was an annoying odd problem. John came over during the covid pandemic, analyzed the situation and came up with a solution. He wore gloves, a mask and maintained space between us. I am very impressed with his expertise and the level of detail and attention he works with. However, I shouldn’t have been surprised based on how great of a company Dawson Mechanical is. He hires quality technicians. Lesson learned - dont let the contractor do plumbing work. I will definitely use Dawson Mechanical again."

"I urge everyone to take a look at their HVAC/furnace/boiler/ etc. and if you are staring at it, the way I was, screaming WHAT THE HECK, call Kyle. If you are Youtube how to splice wires to install that smart thermostat, stop it, call Kyle. Seriously, just call Kyle. You hear the horror stories, I called for what I thought was $X and the HVAC tech came and now I have a $200X invoice. That is not the case with Kyle. I have been there, do-it-yourself projects exist, but your heating and cooling is not one of them. Do not believe me, call around; then call Kyle, then call Kyle back because you realize he is available, upfront, and transparent. That is what I did. Kyle helped me demystify my heating and cooling system. Now I stare at my HVAC system, knowing what is what, and how I can quickly troubleshoot it and maintain it. What surprised me the most, this is not what Kyle was required to do. He came to help us with something unrelated. Nevertheless, he stayed late, and answered all the questions my wife and I had; we had a lot. It felt like we had a friend over the entire time. Sure enough, that's how it felt when he left. In conclusion, thank you Kyle for being genuinely you; kind, courteous, and professional. Whether you need a repair or want to prevent one down the road, get with Kyle and learn the ins and outs of how to optimize your home's heating and cooling. Schools in session. Thanks again! P.S. "Called for a furnace tune up before turning heat on for the season. Fair flat price and quickly available. Felix was efficient and knowledgeable and gave me advice for ongoing maintenance. Another company was charging by the hour and said it would be at least an hour, hour and a half which does not line up with my past experiences having a tune up done."

"The entire process was flawless. In the proposal stage, I was given 4 options detailing prices and differences in each option in great detail. There was also an explanation of why I needed a chimney liner. We signed the contract and work was started almost immediately. I was contacted via text and email with a description of all the techs being dispatched including photos and background information. The techs arrived as stated. My furnace was over 50 years old and in poor shape. The job site was prepared and all the old components were removed leaving the site as clean or cleaner than when they started. The tech fully tested the heat and air conditioning systems and showed me how to use and set up the programmable thermostat. Great job all around."
