"I had a great experience with Kelly's A/C. They installed blown-in insulation in my home, and the difference was noticeable right away—my house feels more comfortable, and I’m already seeing an improvement in energy efficiency. The team was professional, on time, and kept everything clean throughout the process. They took the time to explain the work and answer all my questions. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing insulation or HVAC services!"

"If you are looking for new A/C systems - look no further. The team at Enoch is the best I’ve ever seen. I have never seen a large HVAC vendor that the owner of the company came out to do the original walk through. Miles (the owner) is professional and extremely knowledgeable. Not only was his bid incredibly competitive - he also notice that we wanted to have two crews to handle the large home project we had done for new A/C and furnace solutions. The work was done all in one day and they spend extra time cleaning up after all the work was done. Then the next day Miles called me back to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. If you are getting bids for new AC systems - you must have Enoch come out and give you a bid. I rank them a 10 out of 10. The best I’ve ever seen."

"They were prompt and solved the problem. John T was courteous and patient even with me looking over his shoulder. They installed the system in the summer and came back to balance it out this winter and at no charge! They stood behind their work."

"Eric explained exactly what he would do and made a repair to one of the duct boxes that had a historical mold issue. He also made a recommendation to increase the size of one of my return grilles to help that room which was hot. He offered to come back to help balance the system with the dampers in each leg after the cooling season gets going. All of the ducts were raised which helps maneuverability in the attic. Cleanup was excellent and completed in one day as promised. Also included a dryer vent extension to my soffit which needed to be done long ago. Very professional job; would recommend them, a bit pricey worth the cost."

"Allgood Air Conditioning and Heating came out to repair my air conditioner within 2 hours. Arthur was very knowledgeable and thorough as he inspected and repaired the air conditioner. He also inspected the heater to make sure everything was in working order and informed me of any other needed services. FAQs for furnace / forced air heating system install or replace projects in Pasadena, TX

Converting from an oil furnace to an electric furnace isn't a simple swap—the oil system needs to be completely removed before installing the electric furnace. You'll need a full electric system installation, but you might be able to reuse existing ductwork if it's up to current safety standards. You’ll need to budget for a new electric furnace installation, which costs between $1,800 and $6,200, including professional removal, proper disposal, and safe installation of the new system.

Electric furnaces are 100% efficient at converting electricity into heat. However, some of that heat can be lost as it travels through your home's ductwork or escapes through poorly insulated areas. That's why regular duct maintenance and proper home insulation are important to maximize your furnace's efficiency and reduce heat loss, ensuring consistent warmth and lower energy costs.

With proper maintenance, an electric furnace can last anywhere from 20 to 30 years, outlasting the average gas furnace's lifespan of 15 to 20 years. To keep your electric furnace running efficiently, schedule regular cleanings, tighten connections, and have inspections done before winter arrives. With routine maintenance, you’ll ensure consistent, safe heating for years to come.

The size of the electric furnace you need depends on factors like your home's square footage, climate, and insulation quality. As a general guideline, those who live in warmer climates should multiply their square footage by 30 to 35 BTUs, while those in cooler areas should multiply it by 50 to 60 BTUs.

Consulting with an HVAC professional can help you determine the exact size that's right for your home.

An electric furnace works by converting electricity into heat using high-resistance heating elements. A blower then pushes the warm air through your home's ductwork, distributing heat evenly throughout your space. Since there's no combustion involved, electric furnaces eliminate the risks associated with gas furnaces and provide consistent, reliable heating when properly installed.

An electric furnace uses between 40 and 80 kilowatts per day to heat your home. The exact amount it uses depends on factors like your home's size, insulation, and overall energy requirements. Larger homes or those with poor insulation use more energy than smaller, well-insulated spaces. A professional furnace assessment can help confirm the ideal unit size for your needs.
