"Twas the eve before Thanksgiving and all through the house all was quiet except for a (mouse) actually it was a circulator pump on the boiler that ran continuously for an hour! Called the number at the shop and by 3 AM John appeared in my driveway in his van with tools in hand and a smile on his face. By 4 AM he was on his way to help other folks, what more can I say! "John Mullen provided me with OUTSTANDING service when my A/C broke. I called John at 8:23 PM on a Friday night and asked him if he could help me. My home was already 78 degrees and rising with a dog and two small children. He was in his car going home from a long day's job and turned around to come to my house. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a simple blown capacitor. He replaced the part, told me how much it would probably be for a new A/C unit with and without a furnace if/when I would ever need one, but said it was not necessary right now, that my unit should run for a while longer even though it was old. Then, at 9 PM on a Friday night, after what I am sure was a long hot day for him, he took the time to show me how to clean my A/C unit with my garden hose to increase efficiency and decrease the chance of breakdown. He left my house, work completed all for only $90, at 9:08. Now that is outstanding. At no time did John try to sell me a new A/c unit or furnace, even though my units are both very old. He simply advised me of the possible cost if I wanted to do that. He went out of his way and well beyond normal business hours, to come and fix my problem for minimal cost. He was polite, clean, informative, and honest. And again, he took the extra 10 minutes at 9PM at night to advise me on routine maintenance, for free. The previous home owner had this unit serviced regularly by a different company. I initially called them and left a voice mail as they were closed. I am writing this review on Sunday afternoon and still have not heard from them. If not for John I could have been without A/C for 3 or more days. I am a critical person and do not believe in praising people just for doing their job. I am much more inclined to leave bad reviews for poor service, than good reviews for just providing the service you are paid to do. Please consider that when reading how much I am praising this man for going above and beyond. Hire him, you will not be sorry."

"We were so happy to have Sullivan Super Service (Plumbing, Heating, Cooling) come today to repair our central air conditioning unit and to service our HVAC system. Sullivan's technician, Bob Anderson, was polite, professional and experienced. We greatly appreciated his knowledge and counsel. Our AC has been out for a few days in a current hot spell, and Sullivan was the only company that contacted us. They proved the old saying that in winning, half of the battle is just in showing up and being there. We were not Sullivan customers before, but we are now! Sullivan's service was SUPER!"

"My AC compressor didn't start so I called Betlyn. After 15 minutes of testing and checking, the technician just told me that I need a new compressor. And then he gave me a quote of $2,200 later. He also suggested me to replace the whole AC system for $3,500, because the $2,200 job won't come with warranty whereas the $3,500 job come with 5 years warranty. I told him that I would have to think about it. So he charged me $110 and left. 
I called some AC companies and tried to get the best quote for replacing the compressor. One company came back with $1,700 so I decided to go with them. They came and checked the system again. The technician said the compressor is good and he fixed up AC with new fan and breaker. The total cost was $267. He even said: " some other company will say you need a new compressor or new ac, but you really don't. That's why we always check it AGAIN before we putting in the new system."
