He is very straight-forward with his quote and doesn't try to pressure or scare you into purchasing something you do not need. Their 10-year labor warranty is also very impressive, and they stand behind their work. A couple of weeks prior, they were able to take a look at my old furnace right away despite having tons of calls due to the first cold snap of the year. The furnace install only took about three hours and was smooth as can be. The installer took great care in making sure floors were protected when hauling equipment in and out of the house. He also made sure to repair some ductwork that extended off the furnace. My suggestion is to make sure you call Home Comfort Systems if you need service or replacement of your furnace and/or air conditioning."

Porterhouse Heating & Cooling came out that day, replaced the shut-off ball valve, and tested the system after the repair was complete. Also Porterhouse Heating & Cooling ensured the tankless water heater was operable since gas to the house had been shut-off due to the gas leak. "I had noticed that my heating system was struggling to keep up with the massive drop in temperature. It hadn't gone out entirely but the air coming out of the vents had gone to lukewarm. I had used AWE previously when I purchased a whole-house humidifier and since they'd done such a fine job I looked them up and, lo and behold, they had another Deal for just what I needed! 

Much to my relief, they were able to send someone the same day. Nick came out, put on his little house-booties, and sat himself down with our furnace. He was quick to report that, thank goodness, the unit itself was fine! Apparently all of the construction work had clogged up our duct system terribly and our filter was actually TOO high grade and was restricting flow. Between those two things, our poor air circulation was strangled, which was why it's so cold.

Based on his report, we got a new filter right away and the temp went up a few degrees. Our duct cleaning has been scheduled and I anticipate another round of excellent service."
