"Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."

Their technician guided me on the doors & windows to select for motion sensors. I am able to track disarming of the security pad by user via email, which means an email pops up whenever my kids come home/disarm the system. I am also able to track arming/disarming via their mobile app, or use the mobile app to arm/disarm the house. The monthly payment plan is affordable & there are no contract surprises/changes written in. They also guide me on things I would have forgotten, like registering my alarm system with the local police. I appreciate their guidance and service.

"Protect America provided me with the best equipment and home security in the industry.  Believe me I have called around for weeks trying to find the best deal and value.  After I signed up with Protect America and received the equipment and installed it, I finally had the peace of mind I needed as a mom of two teens that stay home for 3 hours before I get home.  I get a text on my cellphone when they get home and I know if it is my son or my daughter who entered the code (they each have their own).  That is AWESOME, and if the kids forget to set the alarm I can do it from work on my cellphone app.  I don't understand the complaints about  the equipment, every single piece of equipment I received did what it's supposed to.   I am VERY HAPPY and will commander them to all my friends and family and you!

"Joe arrived promptly as scheduled and was extremely, pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable about the job to be done. It is an old house and some wiring was corroded which Joe cleaned up and insulated prior to installing new ceiling light fixtures. He was also able to troubleshoot and clean up a self wiring mess created by former tenants and redirect the wiring to the appropriate circuits and receptacles. I have further work to be done and will be requesting Markarian Electric's services again - Joe in particular. He did a great job - stayin on task and keeping me informed of what he was doing."
