MC did a quality job, they helped me to identify ways to save money. The build called for metal railings, one company had quoted me to installing the railings one by one and then painting them black per the design plans. MC suggested getting pre-fabricated ones that were already black. This saved on both labor and time which ended up saving me money in the end. The other thing was that the other builders wanted to charge me $2000 to move an electrical outlet to the "inside" of the deck in order for it to pass inspection. MC suggested extending the deck a mere few inches, which would still be in the bounds of the permits, would still pass inspection etc... I really appreciated Jeff's honesty here.

I gave the same design plans to the 3 other deck builders and MC was by far the cheapest. We didn't chose MC solely based on price, they had also installed our fence a few months prior and had done work for several friends.

There were a couple of issues that required follow up, a cracked post cap, a post not fully erect at 90 degrees that took a bit of communication back and forth - this was the reason for the C in responsiveness. They did eventually get everything done that they  said they would we are very happy with the results of the deck and will use them again in the future and recommend them to friends and family.

"I can not overemphasize how happy I am with MP Home Repair. Their work was great.
Purchased as a big deal for the labor to install 40 sq ft of backsplash, MP Home repair agreed to let me use the big deal for an equivalent amount of flooring in an entryway - a tougher job in my opinion.  Once I had my materials they were prompt in coming out to the worksite to review the job and then schedule the job itself.
On the day of the install the two man team came out on time and began their work.  They spent the better part of seven hours taking their time, making sure the job was done right.  It was by no means an easy job. The 40 ft was not a single flat space, but included two steps and their risers, both of which were also tiled. In addition, I asked them to install a metal finishing edge, which they also did.  They kept the area tidy while working and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. 
When it was completed I can honestly say I was amazed.  I have used other big deals, and while the quality of work was good, it was nowhere near as good as what MP Home Repair did.  
If you are looking for quality work you should definitely give them a call.  I would not hesitate to use them again.
