"Plain and simple, go with Rick and 1st Rate Construction. As a homeowner, I HAVE struggled to find companies where the person that quotes the work, is the person that does the work. Rick is the owner-operator of his company and will be your point of contact/work the job. He removed lead paint windows and soffit/fascia for me, and some asbestos ductwork. All great work. Thanks Rick !"

"The Kings of Mold (a small family owned business) showed up and worked diligently to eraticate the mold that developed over a period of time when I had a water heater burst in my basement while out of town. I was impressed with the company's knowledge about mold eratication. They took time to educate me as the consumer on the subject of mold. I even received a warranty, they stand behind their work. They really know their stuff! They deserve the crown!"

"Talked to Tim about my project, they were there very next day, did the air quality and mold check, everything looked besides little bit increase in humidity level and recommended what to do. Very nice company and specially Tim, charged me nothing as they inspection was free and nothing was needed to be done on their part. Highly recommended and appreciate Tim."

"This company is very reliable. My initial contact over the phone was professional. Michael Medley came out and inspected my home noting observations that surfaces and air needed to be decontaminated. Michael Medley promised the water on the floor would be removed from the laundry room and decontamination efforts would be made. He quickly laid out a plan for better air quality that focused on circulation, filtration, humidity control and ventilation. The plan was implemented my Alex, Shane and Tim. They all were professional knowledgeable and on time upon their arrival to my home. This company is amazing! I am very satisfied with all their work performed and the improved quality of the air in my home. Mold was removed and they disposed of all contaminated materials. Job well done! ---Tony Bouie---"

"Very professional and knowledgeable company. They responded to my call for asbestos testing in a very timely manner. The technician was knowledgeable and thorough in selecting and identifying potential asbestos sites and was happy to explain the process to me before starting the testing. She was careful in handling sites and I felt comfortable that the testing addressed all suspected areas. Pricing was fair and the turn-around time for test results and report was great."

"They were professional, and they did a great job."

"Worked w Tony. Can’t say enough good things about the experience. This is the guy you want if you want your problem fixed and not bandaged. Tony went 5x above and beyond and served as a GC for my extensive project. Mold is messy and you’ve got to get to the root of the issues, and Tony is your mold Sherpa."
