"Project: Sample-Taking for possible asbestos in my 1935-built home A fallen tree damaged my roof & attic and caused cracks in popcorn ceilings & walls. SMART readily submitted proof of employees' IDs and current KS asbestos training certifications, at my request. "Pony" took samples, following US Consumer Product Safety Commission's precautions for taking asbestos samples in a home (ex: wore shoe covers; used plastic drop cloths; changed gloves with each sample; used spray bottle to dampen area so as avoid possible release of asbestos fibers while sampling, etc..). This mattered a LOT to me. Cost was per sample taken, rather than an upfront site inspection fee PLUS the cost per sample, as other companies required. Also was willing to bill directly to my insurance company. Certified, competent, courteous, knowledgeable, flexible, prompt, personable, professional and sensitive to customer's health & safety concerns. "I thought he did a good job explaining what he did do but very disappointed they didn't explain that you had to pay a lot extra money to actually find out what kind of mold if any you had. The $199.00 fee they only looked for mold & tested the air quality. If they found any mold it cost a lot more to find out what type. He did say we had mold in our crawl space but not what kind, that cost more money. Overall good for what he did do."
